I took a short drive through the Upper Valley today to take a few photos.

This is a cotton field with decaying cotton wagons in the background. I drive past these everday on the way to factory and always wanted to photograph them.

That is an onion field in the background that has just been harvested.

Maybe the camera has an auto setting for white balance.

A quick fix you might try.
Open image and then open it into a new layer (right click on the background layer and dup it). Go to the new layer and apply a Filter > Blur > Average. Open new adjustment layer and select Curves. Use the Set Gray Point and click on the blurred layer. Hide the blurred layer and see how it looks. Flatten and tell it to discard the hidden layers (the blurred layer which is now hidden).
Doesn't work all the time, but it's a 10 second fix that works more often than not on the assumption that the average pixel colors from the Average Blur is pretty close to the gray point.
Just tried it with the Salt Lake image and here's how it worked.
