Hi guys, sorry I haven't posted here in awhile, it has been rather busy here as I was dismissed from my job (a story for another thread! )

Anyway I haven't been all that interested in using the camera lately, but I have been checking out the PPT everyday like clockwork.

Here are a couple of pics from in and around Alberta.

An abandoned barn in the middle of a canola field, Gizmo and I walked there and it was rather wet and muddy walking through the canola.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Race City here in Calgary, the ARCA West series was passing through so I went, the racing was good, they are VERY fan friendly, to the point that I just slid in and snapped away, even during the victory celebrations while all the other fans were stuck behind the fence I was walking around the cars taking pictures of the celebrations!!!!

Before the main event (a 150 lapper) they open up the gates and allow the fans to come and get autographs and pictures of the cars, it was a blast, all of the drivers were extremely polite and some even allowed the younger kids to get in their cars for pics, now lets see NA$CAR do that!!!!!

The Dwarf cars have had a home here in Calgary for quite sometime, if memory serves me correct they were the first place outside of Charlotte to have them race on a regular basis.
They do put on a good show though.

As Race City is a multi-purpose track, they actually have three facilities in one, so most weekends you can catch drag racing on one side of the stands, and switch over to the other side of the stands to watch the circle track guys, I love it.

Caught these guys in the staging lanes.

These are old, but good memories. Would like to do this trip
again.

Fishing for Salmon in Shipp Creek, Anchorage, AK. Looks kind of like something we would call a mud creek in South Alabama. LOL I watched some big fish being caught here.
