Several years ago, when Cindy and I were eagle-watching along the Mississippi, about 5 identical Ford minivans pulled into the parking lot. They were criss-crossing the country to put a total of a million miles on the vans so that Ford could then tear them down to check for engine and other component wear. Could be something like that. Maybe testing a new hybrid or other technology.

Jaybird - Morro Bay is a great place ... even if it is cold in the summer. That's what coastal CA is all about.

You should'a looked up Firedude - that's where he is a camp host, I think.

Pete, you need to be contacting the auto mags and tell them you have some SPY photos. They could be worth paying your next camping expenses!

We lucky people spent most of the weekend wine tasting in Livermore, CA, a lesser known area w/ some great wineries. 43 wineries w/ shuttle buses between them so no driving. We were able to visit maybe 10 of them in 2 afternoons. All had food, live music, and the weather was terrific. Most of these shots were done by my wife as I was "tasting".

One of the 10(?) - Lovely landscaping.

Pouring inside.

Music outside.

Crazy characters. Women love outlaws! They were a good show even between their gunfight exhibitions.

One of many beautifully lit plant shots.

The source of it all - This is what chardonnay grapes look like.

This is so fun, sharing photos. Pardon my space hogging, but it seems like it makes sense to tell a little story. I try to limit myself. I don't want to put up 20 shots at once.

JB and Chris - Happy Anniversary!

SF - Great pics of the wine tasting trip. I like the flower picture. It reminds me of an avocado.
