Gary & Carolyn, really cool pictures! And thank both of you for sharing them!

Ol’Blue, your son knows his firearms, but I already knew that

Carolyn, I’m pretty sure Eric nailed the scary looking one, it’s a German MG42. I’ve had the opportunity to shoot both the MG42 & 34 and it was really cool(from a history standpoint). Their nicknames were hitlers zipper and after some trigger time I know why.

Great pictures everyone!

BillKy, Nobody has said anything about this 55 Chevy being shortened!!! But most importantly did you get any pictures of the vintage trailer in the background?

CampingBugs,
The rifle in the foreground is an M-1. The one above I'd guess an M-14. We only had M-1s a few M-14s, and precious few M-16s and those were WAY COOL, and a couple nice M60s where I went to school in the 1960s.

Here's pics of where we have been parked (Apopka, Fl) since the pics with the wrecker. Not exactly a scenic view. Been boondocking with the genny for over a week. They have had to go get me more diesel 2 times already.
For more on the story go to THIS THREAD.
