Found this picture from late 03’ of my neighbors old shed that I didn’t remember taking. Last year he was moving to Atlanta to live with his daughter and asked if I could help him remove it since the house was going up for sale. Of course the answer was Yes! He had built this thing like a tank and with 3 guys and a bobcat it took 2 hours to remove. He was a great neighbor and miss him!

The fruits of labor was being able to share this picture that guys liked a little while back

I remember that picture well Don...it would make a great picture to hang on the wall...

Gary, WOW what a GREAT show

Back in the mid '80's, I would have done just about anything to get a body like this. I had the Jeep frame to put it on, and it would made a cool 4x4

Pete, did they recently refurbish the dome so that it's a beautiful copper again? I was expecting a "green" dome . . .

Quite awesome that the roof is glass so you can see the "weather vane"!

Been offline, we had severe winds and the power has been out... no battery back-up...I've taken notes to share so nobody post while I'm doing this....

Pete... words cannot express the feeling of quietness and peacefulness where your brother is laid to rest.... it is a very beautiful picture.

Art...mechanical pics or not, you captured color, shapes and motion from years gone by...I enjoyed your mechanical pictures, even though I am a girl...

Woodburner... here where I live we have mule deer and when I looked at the deer pic you posted I started laughing because the deer's ears looked too small for the deer's head... boy, my perception of deer has changed....

pkjr... love looking at AZ pics anytime.... the years I spent in AZ were quite special to me.... just learning about the desert and how to watch out for rattlesnacks was a trip.

Blackhawk...are you diabetic?

Don...just great pics.... esp. the rowboat you captured it all.

Ghost...what an eye feast!!! just tooo cool...the colors are outrageous..and thanks, dh will enjoy these.

okay...here's my pic today.... dh was getting something to put into our van and he left the door open momentarily. When he got in and closed the door, he heard this heavy buzzing..startled but level headed, he investigated and this is what he found

as I was taking the pic dh said the little guy's/girl's heart was beating about 200 mph....of course, maybe that is normal...lol.. thanks everyone for sharing your eyes' views..... Peace,Cheryl

All great pics but this one brought back the memories for me. The last rebuild my dad and I did together, back in '79 was a '53 like this one. We painted ours candy apple red. My mom did custom upholstery at that time and did the interior in black tuck and roll. My oldest sister still has the truck down in Texas.

thanks for a great escape back in time.

I read something that the dome is kept polished, but the rest of the roof is left to turn a natural color. I've lived in Phoenix for 35 years now, and I always remember the dome being polished. Pretty cool!
