Did it survive? It sure did. Dh just opened his hand and it flew up into the air and out of sight... wow, Shot! that's alot of heartbeats.....
My pic for the day today is of what I believe is a treasure of any state that has cacti. I've never seen such magnificent blooms on such unfriendly (to the touch, not the eyes) plants. From huge to small, each cacti has a flower. These cacti were in front of our house and if you could get up early enough...say between 5:30-6:30 a.m., you could catch some good pics of the blooms. Once the temps started rising and the fragrance of the flowers started wafting, you couldn't get around them because of the bees... they would just roll in the pollen.... as this guys was looking to do.(second pic.. I don't know if you can see him... he's in the lower right of the "tunnel") Everybody have a picture perfect day. Peace,Cheryl

Is anyone here still interested in 35mm photography?
I am cleaning out what I have left of my 35mm equipment and I would like to send it to a good home where it might still be appreciated and used occasionally....for free of course!
This is a circa 1975 camera body which I purchased new and still works and looks like new. This camera body is very heavy, nearly indestructible. I have taken thousands of photos with this camera.
Canon AE-1 body
Power Winder
Canon Speedlight 155A
50mm 1.8 Canon Lenses
35mm-70mm 2.8 Sigma Zoom with 1:6.7 Macro Lenses
80mm-200mm 3.5 Sigma Zoom with Macro External Lenses
2x Teleconverter with Extension Tube
All the lenses have filters and leather cases.
I also have all the original manuals.
I am not trying to sell this equipment I just want to give away to someone who might still actually want to use it.
Send me a PM if you are interested.
This equipment has already found a new home.

There are some beautiful shades of greens in the trees at this early stage of summer.

Wow! That is very lush and pretty! We don't have that here in the desert! Thanks for sharing, Jack!

Gary! All nice cars, but I like the one above the best. It just looks the toughest, fastest, and with the most horsepower!
I prefer trucks, though. That old Dodge looks great!

Here's a picture sent to me in email of a friend's Mastiff. This is Odin, a 6 month old pup with personality relaxing in his yard!

6 mos. old????? good gracious... Odin already looks like he rules the roost...look at the attitude on his face....
Thanks for sharing....
I love the old Dodge truck... growing up my father had a "way down back junk yard" and we had all kinds of old vehicles like this to play in when we were young.... when we got older, my father would throw together a "doodlebug" for us to drive around the back fields with using parts from this one and that one... brought back some memories with that pic...thanks. see ya. Peace,Cheryl
