What chemicals? I don't use any but a little soap every once in a while.
I have a cleanout in the driveway. I couldn't quite get to it with the MH so I took some three inch pipe and I have a couple of lenghts I screw together for a temporary, above ground extension. I store the pipe next to the garage in between use. It is nice to have really clean tanks every time we head out on a trip.
Works great.

Ray,
The cons....... is the labor, since you have mostly sand makes for easy digging. This time of year, with the HEAT it is a morning job.
Just dig down to you main sewer pipe, no need to go to the tank, plus the tank will be deep. The closer you stay to the house the less digging you will have to do.
Go to HD by the airport and explain what you are doing, make sure they have two no-hub fittings for you.
Good Luck

Just don't use chemicals on the home run. Any cleanout or access works just fine.

Fun story. The tree roots finally got to the sewer line from my house (circa 1924) to the alley main. Had to dig up the terra cotta and bypass the obstructions with a new PVC section. Had hired the city folks to do this afterhours, an accepted practice in our community. I asked if they would include a "dump station" for my coach, sitting right there. The reply was,"no, that's against the law, but you really should have an inspection port right there" near where my RV is parked. Voila! Instant dump station.

re hurting the septic system's breakdown action with chemicals.....
i just use more Rid-X than I used to use in the past. After 6 years, still no problems.

I have one installed in my RV garage, one installed at side of house in my guest rv area, and one outside of gates to dump when arriving home from a dry camping trip. All of them empty into the sewer line and they were all permitted and inspected by the city.

If you are on a septic system it is important to have properly functioning outlet port with filter, rid x is a enzyme which should be unnecessary if your system is functioning properly, we put a dump "T" on our sewer line but it was during construction so we got it right where we wanted it- it is so convenient. Hiring a contractor can be a nightmare and big expense so I would recommend finding a good plumber that doesn't charge like a doctor or lawyer.

In this case I think the Rid-X is instead of other tank chemicals to be compatible with dumping into a septic tank.

So long as you call it a "clean out", you can have one installed anywhere. I haven't bothered putting one on the driveway, as I had a cleanout in the front yard at my last place and at my current place, so I just blue tank it over.

Hmm, then you could call a proctologist an inspection port technician?
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
