I'm sorry to hear about Charlie's passing. He was a beautiful boy, and it's wonderful that he got to spend his last days in your home surrounded by love.

I knew when I logged in and saw there were a lot of messages that the news was not going to be good. How I wish I was wrong.

My heartfelt prayers go to you and Sue. You are both such wonderful people and that is why these dogs find their way to you and into your hearts. I am sure this will be hard for Susie and Izzie to lose another playmate, but it looks like God had a plan when he sent Peaches back to you....she will help everyone get thru this sad time. Thank you for making Charlie's last days such good ones.

I'm sorry Richard... wish it could have been another way. You did a good thing, though, and you'll have memories of a happy dog whose last days you filled with love and joy, to keep with you always. How lucky he was, abandoned in a shelter, to find someone who was willing to accept him and able to see the value in him.

Charlie was not only loved by you, but he obviously loved you back. You will always carry those memories of how happy and content he was in your heart...so that is his gift to you.
