I'm sure happy to hear Old Fella is doing so well, Richard. I pray he continues to improve.
Katie (my Yorkie that was doing so poorly last week) has also rebounded -- with gusto. Katy (my wife) and I look at her and then at each other and just shake our heads. She's really back to her old self, barking and jumping around, begging for food and picking fights with Frack (the cat who's three times her size).
Katy instructed me to call the vet today to see if we can each get a shot of whatever he gave her, so if you don't hear from me for awhile it's because the vet consented and we're out mountain climbing or running a marathon.

What we have is an old man with one foot in the grave on steroids. Even if his heart stopped beating today it would take a week for him to kick the bucket! Fella is still limping but he is getting around much better.
This morning I saw him run across the back yard to bark at a dog that was walking down the street.

Old Fella continues to improve. Tonight I noticed him coming across the yard moving a little faster than I have seen in a long time. The old boy is made out of tough stuff.

This morning continues to be good for Fella. He is still limping but he is learning to deal with it. Sue wrapped his rear ankle this morning to help stabilize the right rear leg. I believe he is making a comeback just as he has so many times before. You have to admire his courage and that never give up attitude.

What an amazing dog. He is an inspiration to us all. When you are getting the love and care he is getting....you can bet he wants to stick around. Smart pup. Nice way to start the day, with good news from Georgia.
