I AM LOOKING FOR ADVISE ON A MOTORHOME. I AM LOOKING AT THE h.r./MONACO GAS OR NATIONAL. THE NATIONAL HAS LIMINATED WALLS AND THE H.R./MONACO HAS HUNG WALLS WITH SEVERAL LAYERS. FROM THE GREAT WEALTH ON KNOWLEDGE ON THIS FORUM, WHICH IS BEST.

Dutch;
What you need to do is stand at the front of the coach. Sight down the sides so that the sun reflects off of them. Betcha see why I chose the National over the hung side wall.
I toured the Holiday Rambler plant (owned by Monaco) and observed hung sidewalls. It looks like a big clamp on about one-fourth of the wall actually being pressed into place. the other three-quarters have no pressure on them.
Whatever you decide on, may your coach run forever and smoothly!

I wouldn't get hung up on sidewall construction.
Assembly quality, warranty, and other issues are as important.

A hung wall will look rippled more than pressed..
but may run less risk of delimination or heat damage. With aluminum stringers and hung walls, you can attach and work later with more ease, like to add wires etc.

You might want to search this forum the subject has been thrashed like Tonya Harding

I just noticed your handle is DUTCH - you have no choice but to buy a Dutch Star !!!
