I am curious about the quality of some of the Toy haulers out there. Is their a major difference in construction? What is the best toy hauler for the money?

This is an issue that many of us face when we want to buy an RV. We went through it and this is the advice I offer anyone who asks a question like the one you've asked here.
No matter what brand of RV you can think of, there will be those stories from folks who will tell you about their horrible experience. Doesn't mean that company makes bad RV's. It simply means that those folks had a bad experience. On the other hand, you'll find people who swear that their RV is the greatest product on Earth. Doesn't mean that that company has a perfect track record. It only means that those folks got a good one from a company that may or may not have a very good reputation. The best way to sort through the maze of RV's and find out which ones rise to the top is to do some research.
Read everything that you can find including all the chatter that goes on here. Just don't put all your trust in one story, situation, circumstance, or experience.
Ask all the questions you can think of, even if they sound stupid, and ask those questions over and over to anyone who might be able to answer them. Eventually, you'll see a theme developing with the responses.
Finally, go out and look at some RV's. Look at as many as you can find. Go to dealer lots, go to RV shows and don't be afraid to do some traveling to see all the RV's that you can. Take a Saturday and take a drive. Go a few hours in a given direction, look at some products, have some lunch, look at some more and, the next Saturday, go off in a different direction to do it all again. Look at the construction, durability, quality, workmanship, etc. Don't just "kick the tires"!
As the weeks and months(?) go by while you do all this research, you'll be amazed how much you can learn and how you'll start to form your own conclusions about which are the good ones and which are the ones that you might want to avoid. Good Luck!

Ouch, that hit home really hard.
I was ready to pull the trigger on the Endura Max toy hauler.......'till the wife found out there was no separate bedroom.
Needless to say, toy hauler was not the topic of discussion anymore.
The rest is history.
For the money, a toy hauler is twice as much as a regular RV and it has less content.
