I'm not sure about the bikes in the back. I have never tried that myself, I keep too much other******in there. As far as price, anything in the 14-15 thousand range is a good as far as I'm concerned. I bought mine used (they only used it once) so don't quote me on the price, but I know the MSRP is about 18. Hope that helps

herewer, keep repeating to yourself 25-30% off sticker price. When we were shopping and I was a new member(and had just found this great site!) I learned that the mark-up on Rv's was huge...I had NOOO idea.
Sooo, we went shopping with 25-30% off in mind.
Got a 2004 23D Jayco w/ sticker price of 21,000 for 15,500 with hitch(sway&weight distribution), surge plug, full propane, hose, RV TP(the last RV TP we used), and toilet chemicals. I'm sure we could have gotten the price lower, but we got too excited and stopped negotiating.
Best of luck!

As you can see in my signature I have the '06 model of that same trailer. I would assume that you are thinking of hanging the bikes in there somehow. I just measured mine and the compartment depth (front to back) for the "garage" is roughly 16 1/2". The width of the handlebars on my personal mountain bike is more like 23". You may be able to sort of turn the handlebars and get it in there though. I, like fdsh5, have way too much other um, stuff in there to fit any bikes. I carry the bikes in the back of the truck.

Thank you for the measurements. One of our reasons for getting a new HTT is to take our bikes. We pull with an expedition 5.4 V8 w/towing package. So putting them in the back is a pain. I had hoped to put them in the back. But no go. Hubby is not handy to make someking of "homemade" solution. So.... we will just keep looking. Sooner or later we will find that "perfect" one.
Hi Wendy,
We know a couple that just got a new 2006 Trail-lite by R-Vison. It is the model TC19RDB. It has a side door by the bed that when you lift the bed up, 2 to 3 bikes can go into that area and ride without bagging up the inside of the trailer. getting the bikes in and out of the trailer is real easy. The bed folds up and out of the way so you can get the bikes in there. Nice trailer and it is lite to pull. It is about 22 feet long. We like the floor plan.

If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of
payments on your RV.

We have tried that and it does not work very well, at least for us it didn't. The bikes were bouncing all over the trailer. There was really noting that I could tie them down to. So now I have the bike rack the goes on the ladder, works great.
Thank you for the tip Camper Carl. I will check out their website. I was concerned they would slide all over and damage both the trailer and the bikes if I put them inside. I will keep looking.
