My gosh, I think everyone is hiding under the covers the last couple of days! NC and Kathy must have gotten their hands on that HR. Good for them.
No frost here yet mower, but I am hoping, we sure need a good hard frost to rid ourselves of the pollen that floats about.
Kelly, I admire you for being able to have your little furries obey you. Our old gal is a real mess. She weighs about 5 pounds ( if that much) and rules the roost around here. She had been an abused dog when we got her, so we over did it in the spoiling area.
We have been slowly getting the MoHo ready to roll. It will be great to see so many of our family next weekend. You all take care and have a good'n rose
Haven't gotten the HR just yet. They were cleaning it Saturday. They are also going to replace two of the slide out awnings. Guess if you have a two year old 5er and it's just sat, guess some things can get old quicker then normal. They steam cleaned the carpets, looked good. Put maxxair vents over the bathroom vent and the two fantasta-fans in the unit. We're kind of eager to get it home, but going to wait till we get everything done to it first.
Was "kinda" busy yesterday, when I got home from work, went out to look at the progress on the 5er and picked up Amber. She spent the night with us, I think she really enjoyed hanging with her "maw-maw" and her "paw-paw". DD and the two girls just left a little while ago, so now it's just the DW, myself and the two dogs....you know, like, almost boring??
Anyway, I hope all of you are having/had a great weekend. I'm going to grab a bite to eat and watch..yea, football. Hope all of you are well..
It appears from what I've seen with the weather forecast, that we might get our first frost one day this coming week. It was 50 degrees this morning and got up to 70 and it was sunny, a nice fall day.
Ya'll take care, I'll catch ya later.

Kelly, how you like your new fridge and stove? Has the dishwasher arrived yet? Did you get all that stainless stuff they are pushing? I have gone the gamut from nothng matching to all pink to green and now all white. I decided after trying to do the mix and match thing I would never buy a pushed color again. When one goes you feel like you have to buy a whole new set of appliances.
Well, our mowing got taken care of today and possibly the last mow of the year. At least we know we wont be shoveling snow
Well my little peanut butter kid arrived. She will be here until sometime tuesday. Her mom wants her home for trick or treat and they are going to bring her back as soon as she has collected her due from her neighbors. Sounds good to me .
Hope you all have had a good weekend, rose

"BUMP"...I "upped" us up some. Nice day here today, got down in the low 30's, frosted in several places around the area, looks like it's suppose to do the same thing again tomorrow. Temps. will be up in the low 60's, and after tonight, looks like we may be able to "hang out" in the 40's for our lows for the rest of the week. Got the new hitch put in the back of the truck today. We're probably just going to wait till Saturday to pick it up. With the way the DW and myself are working, it would probably be more condusive for us to just wait till Saurday to bring it home, AND it is suppose to be a pretty weekend, so hopefully, we can get it loaded up and I may even put a coat of wax on it.
Hope all of you had a great day and your all well. I'm watching the Packers playing the Broncos...(go Packers),,,just wanted to drop in and see how everyone is doing...figure no news is good news...have a good evening.
Looked at the "ponies". They sure aren't MINI horses, but not quite full sized either. The half Belgian is GORGEOUS!!! The half APHA is very pretty, too, he's red!
Now I am remodeling 1/4 of my shop into horse stalls, until I can get a shed built for them. Yeah, we go get them in a couple weeks. Have to do some fencing and get some hay in first, as well as the stalls for bad weather.
Then we have to learn how to train horses so we can teach them to be driven, and get something to hook them to. Wagon, buckboard, sleigh, something like that. It will be singles driving, they aren't matched anywhere near good enough for doubles.
It should be fun and educational. Heck, might even get a saddle or two and break them to ride. Henry is the red roan (somehow, he LOOKS like a "Henry"), and they named the Belgian cross "Guenevere". Her name will be changed to "Babe", I think. Babe is definitely big enough to carry a full grown oversized adult, if I can find a saddle to fit her. She has a WIDE back! Well, ok, if I can find a saddle to fit her, that we can afford. Those things are PRICEY, even used ones.
Well, onward and downward, once again into a learning experience....

Temps up into the 70's today around here, then cold front tonight. Don't forget the time change coming up this weekend.
Thinking of picking up a project like Jon with his tractors. Parents have the '87 Dodge colt sitting around forever. Maybe I'll bring it back to life, would be cheap to run.

Shun, SUCH a "project" I have for you...
9N Ford tractor, runs good, easily restorable, with Dearborn 19-8 loader (not mounted). I will even deliver for fuel, food, and lodging both ways. You will need a fork lift or hoist of some kind to get the loader off the trailer.
Yeah, JUST what you need!!
Sure it is...
Uhhh, yeah....tractor....uhhh....well you're welcome to come visit but without the tractor I did see some nice pics of restored 9Ns on line though. I can hide an econo car in my garage but not a tractor.
Rose, DH told me to leave the dishes on Saturday so I would have something to try out in the new dishwasher. (I washed them) We drove to the big city to pick one up. Of course my luck the unit is back ordered and I won't be getting it until Dec 1. Well at least it'll be here in time for all the Christmas dishes. The fridge I just had them repair. The stove, cross fingers, is still okay. Got some Christmas shopping done while I was there.
Well tonight is the night to get some more Halloween decorations up. I'm downstairs looking for my costume and thought I would drop in. Looking at the clock now it's time to get upstairs and start supper.
Jon, you'll have to put up some pics of your new horses, they sound gorgeous.
