Happy Thanksgiving! Hope this finds everyone doing well. Enjoy yourselves and don't eat to much, if possible. Weather here dropped into the 50's with hi's in the upper 60's.
Were having a great time here in Yuma, should be headed back to San Antonio in December. Take care and be careful.

Good morning. I thought I would drop by this morning and get some good coffee! It's only 3 degrees up here, brrrrrrr! I thing the dog knows as she's not too swift about getting up this morning. Actually she hasn't moved from her spot yet. The cat keeps cuddling in my lap; all I'm missing is a fire and a good book.

I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. I'd say don't eat too much but that's what it's all about. I hope you all bottled a lot of warm weather this summer. I wonder what the duty will be on that?

Take care, safe driving.

Clear and cold in South Central Montana, it might get all the way up to 30 today.
The turkey has been ravaged, the mashed taters are about gone, but lots of munchies left. It will be real good grazing for the rest of the day. and then some...
Still have the pumpkin and cherry pies. and whipped cream. maybe in an hour or so.
the house is full of kids (grown ups) and grandkids (little ones). Semi-organized chaos. Fun, though, for a short time.
I hope everybody else is having a GREAT day.
Later, y'all...

"Only got up to 74", your a real joker Joe...did you have to wear your "long-handles"? We got back a couple of hours ago. Had a great weekend. Temps. got as high as 72 degrees and as low as 24 degrees Friday morning. This morning it was an overcast 41 degrees, so we got home, unloaded the 5er and winterized it. All in all a great Thanksgiving week/weekend. VT beat UVA and now has to play BC for the ACC championship Saturday and "my home-boys",WVU beat U Conn for the Big East championship and if they can beat Pitt next week, just
"might" end up playing for the National Championship...BUT they've let me down so many times before that I'll settle for just not getting "totally embarrased".
I hope all of you are well and I hope you had a great weekend. The DW
is "taking a nap" right now, we have the DD and the grand babies coming over in about an hour or so.
I have to say that the sig. 5er performed flawlessly and that we really like it's floorplan and looks, it towed very well behing the Chebbie through the mountains of NC & TN.
Ya'll take care out there, believe I may try to take a quick nap myself. HEY, we're having left over turkey today...how about that!!

Catch ya'll later, take care out there.

I guess 74 was a little ridiculous to complain about, but today it's only suppose to get up to 72* I guess that will teach me to tease ya'll. Jim, glad the new 5er checked out ok. We drove the new "C" to Yuma and had no problems at all. Took the hills and Mountains great, and was so comfortable to drive. DW is flying back to SA next week to check up on the kids and I'm staying in Yuma for a couple extra weeks. Not sure how long I'm going stay, DW may fly back out in a couple of weeks and spend a few more weeks here and then we'll both drive back to San Antonio. Hope every one is staying warm. I may have DW bring back a couple of degrees just in case the temp drops down into the 60's.......

I'll drop by later, Happy Holidays !!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy yourself Joe. It was a misty/drizzly day here all day today. It was 48 degrees this morning when I went to work, it got up to about 62 and it's 55 degrees right now...guess it's a great way to save money on your heating bill. It's also helping out a "tad" with our water deficit, though not a lot, no real rain to speak of...just a drizzle. Hope all of you had a good day and I hope all of you are well, take care out there, I'm watching some repeats of "The Closer", a pretty good TV show...I'll catch up with ya later.

For the rest of the week, the HIGHS are supposed to be in the upper TEENS!!
Just think of how cold it would be if it weren't for Global Warming!
But then, the weatherman says we are averaging 15 degrees BELOW normal temps for this time of year.
coffee pot is set for 0555, and there is a bag of chocolate chip cookies on the counter. They are a little crunchy, but that makes them good for dunking.
I ran a possible tractor sale off today. Nicely, of course. She wanted to use the tractor to handle large round bales, and I had to tell her it wouldn't work. It would probably break the front axle of the tractor (or the loader frame), and could kill the operator. I don't need that kind of guilt, thank you. The operator couldn't steer the tractor anyway with that much weight on the front (1000-1500 lbs.). No power steering on these old rigs. She thanked me for being honest. I got 2 other calls, the old "I'll call you back..." thing, nope, no callback. At least there is SOME interest. I do wish the one guy would call back, though, he had a 16 foot car-hauler flatbed he might trade!!
Ah, well, onward....

Good morning all! It's a lovely -11 here this am reaching a high of 5 this evening. I had to dig out the winter boots now. We have snow!!
It looks more like November outside. I hope you don't mind; I turned the coffee pot on a little early this am. Love chocolate cookies.
The DH got the dishwasher installed on Sunday. I'm always walking by it to make sure it's running; it's sooooo quite I can't hear it run. We had the Grey Cup on Sunday and Manitoba lost out to Saskatchewan. Oh well there's always next year. The house is awake a little early this am. I'm trying to get my Christmas gifts made in time. Well the cat is nibbling on the modem wires and throwing things around the desk. He want's breakfast. I best go and feed him.
I hope everyone has a great day today. Take care.
