Ro sie, My mom had cataract surgery and was up and going the next day. Hope Art has good luck with his surgery. Nice cool morning here today, but suppose to get up into the 90's again.
Maybe I'll look for some of that pink stuff. Should help keep the dirt off.

Rosie, I know what your talking about now, I've used it before. I think may still have some in my utility room. It was a beautiful day here today, got up to 82. When I got home, I weed wacked for about an hour, used the small mower to do more trimming, finished up with the riding lawn mower, trimmed some shrubery and sprayed some weeds that I don't want growing..all in all, yard looks great, we just, again, need some rain. It is VERY dry here again. Hope all of you had a great day and hope you have a great weekend. The DW & I will have to try and keep occupied. The DD, SIL and both GD's are still in Florida,
won't be back until Sunday or Monday....sure is quite around here. Take it easy out there, I'll catch ya later.

Glad you figured it out NC, I was in Lowe's yesterday and went and found the can so I could tell you what its name is. Gel-Gloss! read the component parts too, and it is a wax. Anyway, it makes surfaces look great and easier to keep clean. While at Lowe's I checked out their gardening area and found a new plant that I have been wanting. They call it burro's tail, so I got three very tiny starter pots of it and a pot to plant it in. Abi is calling it "mine". She seems to be taking over my outside plants. But maybe that's good for her to be responsible and have some duties. she is pretty good at watering! My grandson Christopher was here for a couple of days, he is 10 months, and I got to give him his first bites of ice cream. He loved it, he was trying to stick his whole hand into the carton to get his own! He was so cute that we grabbed the camera and took pictures of him fighting for the carton. Looks like the Mo HO will be home next weekend. Then on the 28th Art will have his cataracts removed. I sure hope he still loves me after he can see me real well!
Been too good at keeping myself busy last few days. Finally had a chance to go out for dinner and a movie with DW last night. Nice to have some "us" time.
Starting something new tomorrow, I'm playing violin at church! Hope I don't freeze up and embarrass myself.

Doggone Shun, I'm impressed, violin at church, motorcyle racer, etc.
You'll be fine. Hey, if you can't be forgiven for making a mistake in church, then where can you...well, you get my drift...again, you'll do fine. It's another beautiful day here, 82 degrees right now and the sun hot and bright. I planted some flowers and a shrub, purchased a water fountain at Lowes, put it together and just like sitting on the porch, listening to the water..sounds like a creek. Wiped down the vehicles and the 5er...pollen around here turns everything yellow. The DW is at the grocery store and the DD, SIL and two GD's are staying at St. Augustine Fl. right now. Guess they'll head home Monday. The Asheville Cop son is coming over later and we're going to grill some hamburgers. Ya'll take care and have a great day and weekend, I'll drop back in later.
I echo Joe, Happy Mothers Day out there to all the Mothers, Grand Mothers and Great Grandmothers. Semi nasty day here today. Rainy this morning, then cloudy to sunny with a lot of wind. It got up to 67 degrees, but didn't feel like it. I took the DW out for Breakfest, then the son came over and grilled some steaks. He did a most excellent job for his mother. Son in Va. sent a gift and called her today and Daughter that's vacationing in Fla. called. Hope all of you had a great day...take care out there. Catch ya later.
Hope everyone had a great day yesterday! We had great weather, DW thoroughly enjoyed working in the flower beds, had the kids playing games in the driveway. I cooked fried rice for dinner which has the added benefit of clearing out leftovers in the fridge. When is summer going to get here?
My gosh, I hope no one got blown away with all that wind. It was MIGHTY! It sure cooled it off here too. Before the cool down the pool was 74 degrees, Now, well, I have not stuck my hand in the water to check the temp. I know that water will feel unpleasant. We are waiting here for the last grand baby for this year. We had a bumper crop of them. So far 3 girls and one boy. The last girl is due any minute. I guess that's what you get when you have 4 children you give birth to and 2 that you decide that you cant live without. I tell you what tho, 4 grand kids in one year is overwhelming! If this crop turns out to be as much fun as Abi, I am going to have a blast. Hope all you good friends are doing well.
Yeah Rosie, I'm glad that wind is gone..SON!!it did some blowing. All cleared up now. Got up to 78 degrees today and sunny all day. Appears we may get some rain latter part of this week. Family got back from Florida ok...looking forward to seeing the girls this weekend..makes it all worth it. We have one that is 6, one that will be 4 last part of June and the two "newbies"..granddaughter in October and the grandson in January....believe that'll be it for our family. Hope all of you have a great day and your all feeling well...take care out there..I'm getting eager to go camping again...this time we leave on Memorial day, go to Lake Keowee in West Union SC and stay until June 1st..can't wait....take it easy out there, catch ya later.
