Wonderful day here again today. Art had his EKG this morning, and did good on it. The EKG is a requirement for the cataracts thing. Art is getting ticked off about the MoHO. It has been in Seneca for at least 3 weeks now and they still have gotten or replaced the belly door. When it went there originally they told him it would be a week if they could repair the door, or two weeks if they had to replace it. The last we heard, which was last Friday, was that they had ordered the door, but they didn't have it yet. We would not have minded the wait, if they had been honest with us in the beginning. We are hoping it is fixed before we leave to go to New Bern NC the first of next month. NC, We have taken Abi with us on several trips and she does real well on them. I do stock up on the foods she likes and take along markers and coloring/reading books and a leapster. She and I get pretty adventurous while Art is working. Glad you made it home safely mower, and most of all, glad you had a good time. well, I need to start some dinner prep here. you all have a good'un
Rosie - sorry to hear of your delay in the MoHo. As a shop owner, I hear about that stuff also. I even tell my guys to give longer time estimates than we really think, and we can still have trouble meeting time estimates. Frustrating on both sides!
Great weather rest of the week. I have my AS in my driveway and it is almost road worthy. Just a few more mechanical checks, general clean up, and then decide what events we want to give up so we can go camping.

Good afternoon to everyone...beautiful day here also. Started out a tad nippy at 45 degrees, but it's 78 degrees right now and the sun is shining down big time. Appears there is a slight chance of rain tomorrow...after that, looks mostly clear through next Wednesday.
Rosie, we're heading to West Union Monday, the campground, Crooked Creek, is about 5 miles outside Seneca, we'll be there for about a week. We'll take coloring books, crayons, toys and her favorite movies..we'll be loaded for bear. Hope all of you are having a great day and hope your well...Shun, glad to see you got the AS out and getting it ready for a camping trip. Where I work, when our customer has a "beef", it's on a big scale, it's Mercedes, Ford, GM, BMW, Volvo or Chrysler upset with us about a caliper, corner or parking brake we've sent them to assemble on a vehicle at their plant. Needless to say, our "Quality" standards are set pretty high at the plant. Not going to talk about work anymore then I HAVE to..so enough on that....ya'll have a good one, catch ya later.

Yuk yuk yuk....dealing with BEEF has to be an acquired skill. Kind of proud of myself today. I was helping my mechanic catch up on some projects. He gave me a bike that "did not run". Turned out the owner installed a non OEM shock on the bike that was too long. Of course this caused a chain of events that lead to a dead bike. The battery had to be moved higher. The stock battery wires then needed to be extended. This guy wrapped the extending wire once around the battery leads, then wrapped electric tape around the whole thing. Well, obviously the contact is tenuous at best, caused surging when then blew his main fuse: dead bike. Well, got to feed the kids now. Everyone have a great evening!
Well, Art called Seneca yesterday, and still no door. It seems when you take off one door on a side, you have to take off all the doors. So the MoHo is sitting there with no belly doors on one side. So far we have not really complained to them, just did the check up phone call thing. So now we are waiting for the door and the part ( entry door grip) both cosmetic parts. Art sure is vain about that MoHO. NC, if you have a cell phone, I can send you our home phone number. Maybe we can make a run to Seneca when you guys are there. Maybe we can bring Miss Abi along so the girls can have some play time. Ya know, funny you mention quality in your job, that's Arts official title in his company, "Quality Assurance Manager" when he gets home tho, he has NONOtitle whatsoever lol. Hope everyone has a very good and profitable day
Sounds like a plan rosie, I'll send you a pm with our cell numbers.
We'll arrive Monday afternoon and Amber will be with us until Wednesday afternoon...or longer if everything is ok. We're staying at Crooked Creek RV Park in West Union, (about 5 miles from Seneca).
Nice day here, though it has clouded up pretty good and is sprinkling right now. Temp this morning was 60, it is 76 right now. I do hope we get some rain, we're needing it. Hope all of you are having
a great day and hope your all well..take care out there...Yo, Joe, appears the Spurs are still around..hopefully they'll beat LA.
80 something yesterday, lots of sunshine. 49 for a high today, with lots of rain. Supposed to stay that way through Monday.
Sure glad I wasn't planning on going anywhere this weekend.
It just seems to be the smart thing to do, stay home Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends!
Gotta go throw hay at the horses, catch y'all later...

I'm with you Jon on the staying at home over the holiday weekend. I found out that the campgrounds seem to "clear out" on the holiday, thus, we still take advantage of getting 5 day's off with only 4 day's vacation, we just don't go until the "last day" of the holiday when the majority of the people are leaving. Been working out pretty good for us the past 2-3 years, most of the time, you have most of the campground to yourself until the next Friday.
Hope all of you had a good day, it was 50 degrees this morning with a moon that lit the place up like a big ole flood light. Got up to about 77 degrees and was sunny all day. They're calling for a chance of rain again on Friday, after that, appears we may be "good to go" until about next Wednesday....again, guess we'll wait and see. It appears we'll have run some production in our machining area this coming Saturday and, yep, my turn..another good reason not to have had nothing else planned...I work Thursday, Friday and Saturday, then I will be more then ready for a week off...ya'll take it easy..I'll catch ya later.
Still rainy. About an inch in the last 24 hours, the news says. Flood warnings for the river, and now they have added the creeks to the warnings.
I do't even want to go out to feed the horses. It's MESSY out there!
Y'all have fun, catch ya later.
