Though it wasn't funny to you Jon, the way you wrote about putting those belts on gave me a bit of a laugh this morning. Reminded me of one of those serpentine belts that I helped a buddy replace one time. It was maddening and extremely frustrating, but if someone had been carrying a camera around, we'd probably won $10,000 on Americas Funniest home videos. Glad you "got er' done". Hope you work it out with the feed for your horses.
I was going to post on here last night, but I couldn't get to where I could post, kept timing out?? Nice day yesterday, started out sunny and got up to 85 degrees before the first rain. BUT, by then, I had mowed and trimmed the yard and washed and waxed the truck, reason being that I was able to leave work early because we had finished the weeks schedule..hey, I was happy. We got some rain, then it cleared up again, THEN I washed and waxed the DW's car. Don't know why, it's suppose to heat up then rain again...oh well, it is what it is.
Hope all of you are having a great weekend, the wife and I are going to go out and eat breakfest...I did the "air pressure" thing today, between the 5er, TV, pop-up and the DW's car, I checked 18 tires, all good except added 1 psi to the RF of the DW's car, (I'm a perfectionist) Gotta go take a shower, ya'll take care, have a great day...later

Another 100+ day here in San Antonio. Got home from work yesterday and found a river out in front of the house. Water main break up the street. Got to looking around and I also had a water leak in front of the house. Spent the next couple of hours digging and repairing the water line. All done now and everything looks great. Heard on the tv yesterday our yearly total for rain this year is 3.94". That is not a good thing. Last year it was like 17". Going to be a long hot and dry summer. Anyone need some warm weather, I have all I can stored for the winter. If ya need some let me know.

All this washing and waxing has me exhausted. And Joe, you trying to give away that extra warmth...Well I am sure I have some extra also. Altho it has been pretty cool here in Missouri. We are leaving here early in the am. We will be on our way to the Nashville area, a couple of days there and then we will be heading home. I can't wait to see the condition of the river again. When we crossed over , the river was up to the tops of trees in front of the arch. It (the river)was so high that small boats could not pass under the bridges. It has rained every day we have been here. Not all day mind you, but every day. We are parked at the Missouri State Fair grounds. Costs $18 a day. Not a destination for sure, but a good place to over night should you be passing thru. Only has 30 amp service, but full hookups. Well, I am outta here, gotta pack up my kitchen. You all take care.

Rosie, good to hear from you. It is strange weather we're having. Flooding really bad in some places and drought conditions in others. Ya'll be safe. It was another beautiful day here. Miss Amber spent the night with us, then Miss. Kaylee came over with her mother around noon today. Tuesday is our son's 37th birthday, so we did his birthday
today, he'll be working a 6pm-6am shift on his birthday. Sun beat down almost all day, no rain, but clouding up now and just started sprinkling a little. Phil,(the birthday boy), took the pop-up out yesterday with his cousin, went to some state park and went trout fishing. They seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Hope all of you are having a great day and weekend and hope your all well. Gotta work 4 day's this week, ("maybe" five)then, Sunday morning, we're "outta" here. I really don't care what the weather is going to be like, the wife and I just want to "get away"....have a great evening, we'll catch ya later.

Cloudy all day here with rain early evening.Believe it got up to about 82 degrees, it feel's "cool" right now, but it's 72 degrees, (think I'm becoming a "sissy"). Just wanting to work through this week, hope everything goes well, and head out Sunday, it'll be about a 4 1/2 to 5 hr. drive, we're going to take our time, some pretty steep mountains on I 26 up hill and down hill and the same with I81 & I77, the "tale of the tape" will be pulling I26 just as you leave TN going into NC, it's over 7% at times and it's about 7 miles up uphill driving. Anywho...hope all of you are having a great day, the DW and I are just sitting around watching Television and reading. Ya'll take it easy out there, I'll catch ya later.

We had kids and grandkids here yesterday, filled the pool for the little guys. Grilled chicken and prawns, vegetable trays, cantaloupe, all the good stuff.
BUT, I forgot to get potato salad! It was greatly missed, by me at least, but I survived.
Emptied the pool this morn, then left it to dry. Almost lost it this evening, big wind came up, and it was sailing away! The dog yard fence caught it, though.
Fired up the weed whacker, did some trimming around the house and under the electric fence. Our fence charger isn't a "weed burner", so it looked like some weeds might have been causing mild grounds. Cut them away, but haven't tested the fence. The horses appreciated the green stuff I cut.
Our son and I went over to the neighbors and got enough of last years alfalfa to get us by until our regular supplier gets the crested wheat grass hay in and available.
It has cooled off to about 80 at the moment.

Crazy weather all over. 2 hours after we left town last Friday, 80-100mph winds came in for about 15 min. Many folks have sunniers yards this weekend. We saw very little out in the campgrounds. Our yard has a bunch of sticks, a couple of big limbs fell down, and the top of our patio table was busted. Saw several neighbors with uprooted trees, some houses with trees on them, etc.

RV was great. Finally used the shower. The fresh water tank has enough water to last just over a day when all 4 of us shower. I had to go to the dump station once a day. We did paddle boats, soft serve ice cream, fishing, a play, bicycles, build fires, etc etc. Too bad reality has this tendency to come back.

Yes sir, I think we have enough here that we can piece together a great weekend almost the whole year. Now if we can just figure how to package the cold, use it in the summer, and vice versa....

Joe, Jon and myself have tried to spread out the warm weather, when needed by someone, it was normally to Kelly in Canada, hadn't really thought about dispersing the cooler weather, but it sounds like a plan to me. Hope all of you had a great day, it was a tad cooler here this morning, 52 degrees, got up to 80, no rain, so all in all...it was nice. Hope all of you are well, I'm trying to get through two more day's of work, then "old dad" is going to VACATE!! YEAH!! Sorry about that, got carried away a little. Watching some TV, believe I'll get cleaned up and just "lounge around", ya'll take care out there, I'll catch up later.
