Well at nearly 60 she has decided to give airbrushing a try. She is taking lessons and has had about 6 so far. This is her very first attempt at using it. Up till now everything has been learning shading with pencil and the basics. I thought this was pretty good for her first try.
Al! Lucy is very talented and her first try is truly impressive! I'd be curious to see more as she continues airbrushing!

Yeah, it has been awhile..Been very busy which is nice..School is almost out for the boy, and he had to take the state tests, soon everything around here will wind down and I will have more time to hang out..
This has been the longest week of my life. I can not believe, after looking at the calendar on my PC, that it has only been a week.
Thank you all for your kind words and support for me and my family.
I always knew that he was well liked and respected. But what we encountered the last couple of days was mind blowing.
We had a Sheriff's Honor Guard, with motor cycle escort. That was very special. My dad's partner in the lead. He had been very active with the reserves. He was on the Mounted Patrol, the very first S.W.A.T. Team, Started the SAR team, and may other 'First' for our county.
We had people that my dad had not seen for over 30 yrs stop by and say he was a good man, a good friend. There was people from his Hunter Safety class' that had only spent 24 hours with him, and they said how he had made an impact on how they went through life. (wow).
Old time Boy Scouts, leaders, as well as boys he helped make into men, all wearing some little thing my dad had made for them, 'back in the days'. My dad retired from Scouting over 30 years ago.
To top off the whole thing, we learned that one of my cousins boys will graduate the Police Academy next week. If only we had know this before, my dad would have been so proud.
Tyler adds to a very long list of young men that as fallowed my dad into LE.
1 grandson, 2 nephews, 1 nephew in-law, my brothers best friend in high school,
my best friend from the time I was 3, and many more that were not as close, but still had my dad's love in their blood.
It was a nice surprise, and unplanned, but at the end of the service, all these men, all in uniform, came up one by one, and gave him a final salute. Then filed back into a formal line. No one new this would happen, as most of these men did not know each other, or did not know each other knew my dad.
