Signatures can have only one picture. Where a signature appears to have two or more pictures, the member has combined the pictures to make one, then uploaded the combined picture. The combined picture must still meet the file size and dimension requirements.

Among other things, this thread discusses combining pictures with the free program IrfanView.

Resized, Panorama and multiple picture signatures

If you would like for me to combine the pictures for you, send me a PM and I will give you an email address to which you can send them.

Now, the red x. Here is a copy of a post that I have, unfortunately, had to make a few times.

Once the server has accepted your upload, that is all you can do. The red x is not a fault of anything you have done.

After an upload to a signature, some members have to wait a day or so before the picture will show, some have it show instantly, for some, the picture has disappeared after having shown for a few years.

It is all very frustrating, but to repeat, once the server has accepted you upload, there is nothing you can do ... except, I have a question in my own mind, does it matter which portal one enters?

I am sorry for the problem getting your picture to show; their is a long time "trouble ticket" for this problem. As of yet, there has been no cure.

I am sure the technicians will get the problem corrected; but I can't tell you when.

I was thinking that a visit was when I camped overnight, either in a campground or just parked in a rest stop or even WalMart

Just tried to update the map & now it won't add it. Says it's to big but the file is only 5.87kb & the picture is 197 x 99. Anyone else having problems?

No problem here. I just reloaded my maps and all went well. If you would like, I will be glad to check your map. Send me a PM and I'll give you an email address to which you can send the map.

Just tried it again & it worked. Must have been something going on with the system.
