Had one in a Cedar Creek. It took the chill out of the camper in the late evening and early am.The best part is that you do not use propane, which you have to cart the tanks to the office to get filled.

We have one in our Cedar Creek......and it is one of the best un-needed extras that we could have ever wished for!!!! After using it for 1.5 years, I would never be without one.....the heat is great, the looks of the fire is great, the blower is great.....and it is electric. However, we have used it in the boonies while the generator is on from time to time. The ambiance that it provides on a cool fall evening, not to mention warming the room......well, what more can I say...except: get one installed and you won't regret it!!!

I was in a neighbor's coach at an overnight stop last month. She had a nice little fireplace. I loved the look of it. It was electric and the flames looked real. She said there is a fan in the bottom as well. It looked like cast iron though. I would think that would be pretty heavy and add to the weight in the coach. She said you could get them at Walmart. I keep forgetting to look for them. Thanks for reminding me.

I have an electric fireplace in my TT. Simulated flames are somewhat realistic looking. The unit has a blower and does provide a nice amount of heat. I think it is worthwhile option.
