The Silver Slipper Casino Campground. It's new and not many sites, but we enjoyed it. The area is working hard at building back after Katrina.

Picture taken recently from Camp Liberty, Iraq. That night, dust storm came in and took visibility down to 1/4 mile. I will trade anyone's camp site for mine!

Piedmont Sports Plex, Piedmont, AL. If you are with a youth group or Scout Troop traveling the Chief Ladiga Bike Trail, you can call the Piedmont Department of Parks & Recreation to get permission to camp here. No shower facilities, but flush restrooms at the ball field and a water hose available. We did find a 20 AMP electrical outlet on a light pole and decided to use it because one of the adults needed to plug in a CPAP machine.
