Oh Hai, I has RV in NJ too . . .

Been posting a bit, mostly in the TC section (mostly...) figgered it was about time to say Howdy Ho!

My wife (posts as chickadee-e) and I have been tent camping for years, originally planned to step up to to a PU, over the course of a year of noodling around with the idea it somehow morphed into a 10' Bigfoot truck camper and an F350 dually to haul it around.

Got two whole nights under our belts now, most of it spent INSIDE the camper given the time of year we finally bought in . . .

Never have I been so eager for Spring!

See ya 'round!

With Corzine's proposed budget, nine state parks will be closed and others will operate with reduced hours. I ask you, my fellow NJ RV.Net members to please contact the governor, your congressman, and senator and voice your disapproval of such measures. Please pass this message along to other NJ citizens. We cannot just let this happen.

Thank you.

Thanks so much for the phone number..I just called and placed my opposition to the park closures in NJ (The governor should get rid of double pensions that costs mega bucks before he decides to close the parks!). I encourage as many campers to call and voice their opinion..it only took a minute!

I just made my phone call. We need to write pen and paper letters too though. Direct to the Governor, your local district representitives, everyone you can think of.

KathyDave, thanks for the link, http://www.state.nj.us/governor/govmail.html, just making it clickable.

I filed my objection this way as well. Choose Natural Resources as the topic, and State Parks as the subtopic.
