That doesn't surprise me. I went there to check out the CG and they were full for the weekend I wanted. they said they get a lot of out of town folks with RV's( well duh) that come from all over to get medical treatment at the Philadelphia Hospitals. Penn, Jefferson, Fox Chase etc.

This place (Old Cedar CG) is okay, and the price is low for these days ($31 WSE)...just hope I don't have to milk anything as payment for the site...didn't read the fine print (lots of cows around here)!

How you been Bonnie?...lets do something (small rally like) in NJ soon.

Well, found another campground that has been taken over by new owners, and the place has improved 1000%!

Turtle Run Campground, Wading River NJ is a Passport America (50% off) campground and a Good Sam Park as well, and years ago when I drove through it, it looked like the Grapes of Wrath CG, all old, entrenched seasonals and no amemities...this sure has changed with the new ownership. Exit 50 NB off the GSP, SB Exit 52.

All the seasonal dug in trailers are gone, upgraded electric, sewer and water, all sites now have cable and there is free wifi high speed internet service.
A new pool has been added...a very price friendly situation using Passport America card...$19 it cost me for a S/W/30 Amp E/Cable and free wifi site. Don't know if they offer a 50 Amp service site.

It's great to see a family take this place over and really improve things, for a Monday they are not too busy, hope they succeed.

I have a PC delivery scheduled for tomorrow down in Woodbury, so I think I'll drive down today and spend the night at Timberlane CG in Clarksboro...any other campground suggestions for this area? This is the southwest Jersey area. Gloucester/Salem County...

Might be a little late now but for next time there is a CG in Washington Township / Sewell area called Kandle Lake. http://www.lakekandle.com/

It is a nice CG with a swim club and a huge lake. It is Christian CG so no adult beverages are allowed (wink..wink)Also no pets allowed. Nice pull through sites.

Frank and Kathy here, checking in from Sicklerville, Camden County.

We're "new" to the whole RV thing, bought the TT ('02 Sunline T2363, 24') a few months back. After some repair work on the unit, we have used it a couple times so far. Really enjoying it, actually more than we thought we would!
