I found an *excellent* price on a used Class B with low miles and *supposedly* in mint condition. The catch? He (private seller) wants me to send him thousands (to another country) and he'll have the van delivered to me. Of course, promising full refund if not satisfied. He won't set up a viewing prior to delivering it to me.
As the saying goes . . . if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
Why Full-Timing? Because at my age, I have maybe 40 more chances to see flowers bloom.

Please be very careful sending money to another country. I would not buy anything if they are not willing to let you see it first.

Sounds like a scam, especially if the guy is unwilling to let you look at it (at your expense) before handing over money. It isn't even a very creative scam!

I guess I didn't make myself clear - I sure won't do this. I keep picturing Robot saying "Danger Will Robinson! Danger!"
I'm thinking of reporting him to the site that has his post up.

That sounds like a scam to me. There are legit escrow firms that you can use. Do research first. Be wary of seller suggested escrow firms. Sometimes the actual scam is the escrow company!
I would buy sight unseen from a confirmed legitimate source (like a nationally recognized repo firm) at substantial discount - like 40% off market value so I'd have money for repairs.

Even if you actually view the RV, be really careful. There have been cases of people selling motorhomes, Class B's included, that were stolen, embezzled or otherwise not theirs to sell. I've seen it happen that buyers went to register their new purchase and ended up losing their life savings AND the RV, really tragic.
