What a nice spot indeed! We rather enjoy camping by the Meander river here in Nova Scotia as well..however, the river tends to keep the wife awake at night, so we sleep in the bunk end furthest away from the river LOL! That's the ticket! I caught (and released) a seriously large Brookie not 30' from our campsite

2004 M19 ROO
Replaced my 1976 Viking popup. It was still serviceable just got tired of setup and takedown.
We don't really use it for "camping" mostly for saving on hotel costs when my son is racing.

Allegany State Park Labor Day Weekend 2008. Sites 1-42 are in this area that is wide open...all others are tucked deep in the woods. That is where we'll be the next time we come here.

We got a lot of rain on the long weekend (here in Nova Scotia anyway) but the sun did peak out a few times...this is the dawn that greeted us the morning after a rainfall of biblical proportions. Millions of dollar in road damage in Cape Breton from the deluge.
