If you had your druthers, what things in your RV have not been all that useful, and which are ones you couldn't do without? I haven't bought yet, and am trying to learn what is essential and what isn't.

Comfortable bed/s would be at the top of our list, and a comfortable and ergonomic cab. Sounds obvious, but we have been disappointed in both those features in our B. As for add-ons, we couldn't live without XM radio.

Like everything else, depends on your own preferences & lifestyle. For me, solar is a must, stove I could do without, would like bigger shower (mine is small sit-down tub with hand-held).
Generator & house A/C are pretty high on my 'must-have list here in the SE. A _quiet_, reliable generator would be even nicer, but seems to be beyond the current state of the art. With a bit of effort from the buyer and a few more bucks, the Onan 'Green Box o'Noise' can be made almost tolerable; the RV makers should do this themselves, tho'.
The RT aisle shower may seem kinda funky, but it works really well in my experience.
I'd ditch RT's 'struggle shut, struggle open' curtains and go for the simple pull-down shades like the Tiger uses. _Much_ easier & quicker to use. But Rt's pull-across windshield curtain is a very functional item.
Look at parked ventilation. Is there a way to let air in without letting rain (& bugs) in? The MaxxFan is a better option than the standard Fantastic Fan, IMO, tho' I've no idea if their customer service will measure up. But if I was ordering a new B, I'd definitely specify the MF. RT's 'awning' windows are pretty good.
I've got a microwave and a gas oven in the Tiger. Given a choice, I'd rather have a microwave convection oven, and not lose as much storage.
Basically, I've used pretty much all of the features on my two B's and one C-minus. It may be a matter of adapting to what's there...

We never use the awning or the stove-top. Couldn't live without the A/C, generator or microwave. We don't use the sit-down shower often, but it's nice to have when we can't use campground showers. We like the enclosed bathroom very much, but larger people might not. We didn't get the built-in coffee maker and have not regretted that decision. Would've liked OnStar and a factory installed GPS system but don't have them.
Use it: Furnace,AC, stove, microwave, power vent, extra battery, fabric (vs. leather),alloy wheels (lol), outside shower (small dog),inside bath/shower, TV/DVD etc. (just can't read all the time)
Lose it: Gen (loud), awning (prefer to carry moveable tent type), Sprinter speaker system (not changed yet... wife doesn't care)
Most Important:
Generator, furnace, A/C/heatpump, aisle shower, "expanding interior doors" for 3 private areas in van, toilet and sink, microwave, TV/DVD/VCR, leather seating, fancy wheels, outside shower, temperature and compass display in mirror, closet/storage space, awning & quick connect at rear of RT for barbecues!
Least important:
Stove top (but nice when needed), original shower head (replaced it with accessory home sink sprayer type that does not "drip'), hygienic sink liner.
Scotty, As you can see it is all personal preference. We all have different things we gotta have and things we could do without. We did the shotgun approach and got almost everything and have honestly used it all. For the longer stays an attached screen room made by the awning manufacturer is a nice item. Ron
