My wife and I have done dog rescue for the American Eskimo breed and we have 5 dogs of our own which go camping with us. Because of the dogs, the fiver got the name "EMU" Eskie Mobile Unit.

We call our trailer "Katasumori".

It means "The Snail" in Japanese. Just like a snail, it offers all the home we need as we wander around, albeit slowly.

We call the truck "The Truck", and the trailer "The Trailer" or "The 5th wheel".

Just like ships, people name their vehicles. My Camero is named 'Tinkerbell', so we named our Mini Winnie, 'Minnie Mouse' to keep with the Disney theme.

We name most of our vehicles:

I drive our class B to work every now and then, and my co-workers named it the "Mobile Command Center" ...

Our 2500HD AD/CC Truck = The "BAT" (Big A$$ Truck)

Our 5ver = The "COW" (Cabin On Wheels)

Our Blue Sugarsand Jet Boat = The "Blew By-You"

My 2-stroke Yamaha RD-350 motorcycle = "Ring-Ding"

Our last name is King, so our TT is Kings' Kastle. (Yes, DH wanted castle spelled with a K.) So when people see our sign we hear them say, "They spelled it wrong!"
