The MH is named Bessie. The GPS is named Niles - I programmed that sexy British voice. The VW is the topless toy. And the racecar - not in public!

Hi!
No, it's not just you guys who name things - our previous rig was called The Doghouse, since we got it shortly after adopting a dog from our local shelter since we took her tent camping, then realized that dogs weren't allowed on all the hiking trails. We've gotten a new rig, but our sweet Mickey passed earlier this year, so it doesn't seem right calling this the Doghouse II, so we're still trying on new names for this rig. We seem to be sticking with Spreedom, since this is a Spree, and Spreedom rhymes with Freedom, which is what this rig afords us!

OMG! I couldn't believe it when I saw this topic, I was so sure I was the only one that named ours. I began calling it "REX" shortly after the purchase.

RandACampin has stated my sentiments for me! Why people name inanimate objects is beyond me, although I tend to call them some names (usually accompanied by fire and brimstone and blue smoke)when something goes wrong with them. Just the way I am, I guess.

My F250 is named Floyd. The Mountaineer fifth-wheel that was like searching for the grail to find a fiver for a family in 2003 is named Nirvana. Anytime we are in it, that is the way we feel.
