I could get her to Redding on Saturday afternoon if I get her Saturday morning or late morning.

Okay, lets think about the 19th... I think the 12th is just too soon and doesn't allow time for the unexpected coming home from a trip.

JoelBaker, where would we do our hand-off? And what time would we do it to let you go the other direction?

What I want to know is, when are they going to start selling Comfort Zone for HUMANS????? 'Cause some days...

This might work out very well. If we can make the switch on a weekend as anticipated, we can always camp someplace in the south that weekend. pick up Anna either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. The hook up and head for home Sunday late morning or early afternoon. Poor girl is going to wonder what is up with all these people she will be traveling with.

That would work out great if we could pick her up Saturday afternoon in Redding. That's a bit over six hours round trip so we could bring her here for an overnight stay and take her to meet her new family on Sunday.

As for the second leg of my transport, Susan, what works best for you?

Susan, where and when do you want to meet?

Mickey... gimme a day or so to talk to a couple of people and finalize things? It depends on the who's doing what, when, in Tulsa and I have someone who needs to finalize their plans... but we should be able to sort it out by Weds.

Sure. I just want to make sure everything is lined up for you, especially since you're doing the majority of the coast-to-coast transport!

The 19th works. I am hoping that someone from one of the other rally threads can handle a Bakersfield to San Jose pickup. Alternatively, if we can't get her up to the Livermore area, we could shoot for the Los Banos area in the morning.

Bakes would rock! We have some time to sort it out, but its good to be getting the dates, at least... then if someone is considering helping out, at least its not "well, sometime in the future..." but rather a specific date.

I had no responses to my requests on the rally threads, so we still need transport from Bakersfield to I-5 in Livermore Tracy, or at least Los Banos...
