Don't worry... if it comes to it, I'll do an overnight and go up through the state. Not all that attractive a prospect right after a long road trip, but we'll make this happen.
I don't want anyone doing anything that might get them hurt or place undue stress on them. In the end it will all work out.

I don't think anyone is planning on that but I can tell you for sure that "us folks" on the Old Fella thread usually find a way to get things done; one way or another. Anna will be delivered into your loving arms. Of that you can be sure of.

Bill, Pixie, Honeybun the rescue and our DOTL cat Pita
Amen, Buzz. I'm not going to kill myself, but it is going to happen. I'm driving to Tulsa and back just for fun, so up the state and back for a reason is not impossible...
But hopefully we can find someone to do that middle section and it will become a non-issue.

What I want to know is, when are they going to start selling Comfort Zone for HUMANS????? 'Cause some days...

That list appears to be predominately Yahoo groups. Someone might check MSN Groups as well. If there are any others, Mickey T or myself will have to add them there so post them here or send one of us a private message.
I spoke with one of the founders of the Pet Friends & Rescue based in Hollister, CA today. She made no promises but will try and find a volunteer for us. She loves the Old Fella story and what it has come to mean and even has a friend that RV's and may possibly get involved. Like I said though, she was positive in her responses but made no promises.
