Gordie winterized the TT last weekend but I have been slacking and still need to clean it out. Each day I go in to take something out, don't want to but it has to get done, slow but sure. We're planning on attending some RV shows this coming winter, if anyone can pass along some info on where and when, if you hear of any that would be appreciated.
OK I'm off to do uummm something...don't know what but I'm sure I'll think of something. Sleep sounds good.******I must be tired I'm rambling.
But it looks like that deal fell through. We had everything tied in a bow and then they called a couple days later to say that the unit we bought was somehow sold to someone else. But another brand new identical unit was on the way. Well, just found out that the "identical" unit has different interior colors, that was the last straw, I told them I want my deposit back and the whole thing sounded too fishy for me. They said they could get another unit in with the colors we want, I said OK but it's gonna cost them another 3 grand off my purchase price. Awaiting their answer...
I like being in this position actually, we don't need another RV right now, and there's plenty of other dealers out there. Worst case we start looking again, best case I just saved another 3K.

If you are buying new, 27 percent off retail is a fair price.
I did it, and you should settle for nothing less.
Rusty,
I went in looking for 25%, but having a trade really mucks up the waters. When they gave me the 25, they low balled the trade. But we did agree on what I thought was a good deal considering the book retail on our existing RV. Now perhaps I'll have time to sell it outright. I just hate dealing with that.
The roller coaster ride continues. Just got back from the dealer. We seem to be getting another unit now, they are bringing it up from Pennsylvania. They shaved another grand off our price for our troubles, gave us those fantastic fan things for the vents, discount on all parts, free winterizing for 2 years.
The xtra grand put us at about 28% below msrp with the trade being a wash (they paid what we owed on it).
