2008 RALLY SCHEDULE

People are arriving on several different days, but the festivities will officially start on Friday, 16 May. Tom and Pat will be there on Thursday and Linda and Dave probably will be. Following is the schedule we worked out, BUT IT IS NOT SET IN STONE! We welcome changes—either posted on the forum or sent to Linda (rvlady) via PM. This post will be edited as needed—please refer to this first post often as the date draws near.

FRIDAY, 16 May

Friday night we will have a hot dog and hamburger BBQ with all the trimmings furnished like last year. Just bring your own plates, utensils and choice of beverage. Happy hour and welcome gathering will be at ??? – before dinner.

SATURDAY, 17 May

Breakfast will be on your own—you are welcome to bring it over to the rec hall where we will have coffee and muffins. The exact time for the wine tour will be announced later, but it is expected to be about 10 a.m. A box lunch will be served at one of the wineries. Watch this space for exact details about a month before the rally.

6 P.M. After the wine tour, a visit to the air museum, a drive over to Spirit Mountain Casino, or a trip to the Woodburn Company Store outlet mall, we’ll gather for a potluck dinner. There is a grill, so you can bring your own meat if desired, along with plates and utensils and choice of beverage. We hope salads, side dishes and desserts will magically fill the table! Known contributions in the works are Otto's clam chowder and bigdog's clams. Laura hopefully will have some of her fresh lamb. There is a Safeway and Winco (discount groceries) not too far from the RV Park—both have deli’s.

SUNDAY, 18 MAY

Starting at about 7:30 a.m. will be the famous omelet-in-a bag breakfast, with muffins, coffee, and a fruit tray or juice furnished in addition to the eggs and the trimmings for the omelet’s. Bring your own plates and utensils.

For those staying through Sunday an evening potluck to use up the extra food has been held at previous gatherings.

Hey, we want to attend. We missed this year's rally due to a conflict in schedules.

(I can't believe I posted BEFORE Tradewinds. Sorry Bob.)

HEY HEY, I sent the first email and said sign me up and you guys dogged me. Now I have to listen to Fishinghat all year as he tells me he is in before me....DANG DANG DANG...and that newbie Laura too!

Sigh us up, we will be there......

Sorry Griff but I do own the majority rights to the Rain Dance with Hobo as my back up. He and I will get together with another partial owner Mopargo and we will discuss whether your group this year did a good enough job to be considered as complete or if we need to run you through again...The tee shirts may have been just enough to save you...
