Hope you and yours a well.

Well, we made our reservations, paid a night in advance and then Jaydee dumped a bit of a bombshell on us last week. He has a battle of the bands competition on Friday and a Judo Tournament on Saturday. It appears we are not going to be able and make it now.
Jaydee struggled terribly between the visit to the air museum with the Behrent clan and his committments to teammates here. I do support his decision to be there for the team, this is the last event for the season, but it really sucks not to be able to see all y'all.
What do we need to do to let folks know there will be another space available?
Hobo, are you coming over to see your brother this summer? If so, let me know so we can buy you and Miss Holly dinner, coffee or the like.
Kevin, dadgummit, we will have to hook up another time...
We are going to miss seeing everyone... Treese was just saying how this was her most enjoyable outting of the year, getting to see y'all and such a relaxed environment... hopefully next year!
Take care everyone and we will be there in spirit!

Griff & Treese,
I was so looking forward to seeing you two, This is a dark day for Holly and I. I know how those things happen I raised 4 kids.
Had I known you would not come, we would have come home from Yuma by your way. So the answer is no, we will not be seeing my brother this year.
We got back from Pullman Sunday afternoon. Had a good trip. This is the first time in years I have had a chance to check my gas mileage and I got round trip 23.7 miles per gallons. 60 to 75 miles per hour. Not bad for a big car.
I ask my granddaughter if she had anything I could bring home, she said no, will I got a very big load for not having anything.
That school (WSU) is built on the tops of hills. No place to park, One thing is good it makes those young people walk. My youngest granddaughter fell 3 or 4 times this passed winter walking those steep hills to her house.
They both said they hardly ever leave the campus. Everything they need is right there.
Griff, we will miss you and the family! Call the park and tell them you can't make it. The deposit is not refundable, unfortunately, but if someone still signs up we will try and see if we can get that deposit money to you when they get your spot. Even without kids activities we had at least 2 other things going on the same weekend.
Sorry to hear you can't come, but having two boys in sports, I know how it goes. Both our boys will be missing baseball games on Saturday, but fortunately the team can squeak by without them. I know Dylan will be disappointed, but I know he'll understand.
We definitely need to hook up sometime this summer. Maybe on our way back from our 6wk outing.

I got the trailer back today and it's parked and all ready to load.. Wasn't the converter after all,but there are these two little circuit breakers,10 amp and 50 amp,on the tongue of the tt and they had both rusted and blown.. PERMANENTLY..and had to be replaced.. I just thot they were like a buss bar where the wires from the battery connected with the wires into the trailer for distribution.I have always been very anal about keeping them clean 'cuz on the old trailer they corroded and shut everything down..Sooo,about every two months,I pull all the wires, clean them and the terminals,WD-40 them and put them back together, not knowing that there was a circuit breaker, but you can't open them up to clean that and that's what went when the wires burned..They just hang out there in the open where all the water and chemicals from the road get sprayed up on them and there is no cover for them.. I think that I'm gonna try to make a cover for them that'll be waterproof...
See y'all in NINE more days...

Griff, I hope you realize not being present does not excuse you from the rain dance, wherever you are you do the dance. If it rains on the rest of us then we will know that you did'nt dance.
Sorry that you guys can't make it, we will miss you, it's great to have a bunch of youngers to pick on.
Take care everyone and we will be there in spirit!

So...am I awful for wondering if I can get moved up into Griff's spot? Tom and I are out in the boonies in site 144, which is a whole row or so away from everyone else. It is probably because we have a trailer, and a dirty one at that. Guess I should haul it home from the storage lot and give it a bath before we go.
My girls have slowed egg production so now I'm scrambling (hehehe, get it? scrambling?) to make sure I have 8 dozen before we go. I'll see what I can do about lamb, too. We only had one scrawny lamb this year kept for our own use so I'll see what we still have from last year.
I have four lambs on the ground but two are getting kept for breeding this time because their mom died 36 hrs after lambing (internal hemorrhaging we didn't know about) so I've bottle raised them and have become Mom, plus I need to replace their mom and their grandmother too, who retires this year. What all this has to do with RVing, beats me.
