Sounds to me like the Great North West Rain Dancers are doing their job this year.
Dream on Kevin, We are going to line up and see if you park that big rig with out getting on the lawn.
Same goes for DavidG and Bigdog no hitting the lawn.
Laura, I think it was very nice of Tradswind to have Tom come along with the two of you on this fishing trip. He is a very consecrate fellow.
Teri the quilt looks great. That would make a nice lap quilt for old Hobo.

I can't take the credit for putting it together. Suzi did that. She is a much better quilter than I am. I only did two blocks. It sure was fun. Just remember when bidding on it. There are alot of hours in it. And alot of thought from all the ladies. Teri
What rally fund? Good idea. By the way, before any fund is created by the beautiful quilt, there will be about a $10 cost per person for the BBQ and breakfast. If the quilt raffle money is used to repay for expenses, the amount will be less. The Quilt is beautiful! If you don't eat the food, you don't have to pay--I know of one attendee with allergies that prefers to eat their own food. I didn't see the snacks that are always around on my shopping list send by Jane from last year. I will have a couple of big bags of chips, etc., from Costco, but feel free to add anything to the mix to have something to chomp on while sitting around and BSing during happy
hour and other slack times.

Only when the wind is blowing 15+ knots Hobo.
They did serve beans for breakfast at sea, any sailor worth his salt could get a 20 second linger time at 15 knots, and keep a straight face while doing it. (the air force guys always giggled)

Dilemma on auction or raffle: If you charged $5 each or 3/$10 and 30 people bought the $10 package, you would have $300. Would someone at the rally bid $300 or more for it? I wouldn't go $300 (because i can make one!) by might toss $20 at the raffle idea. Just my opinion!
I think RV-lady is right. I think you would make more by raffle, as much as I would like too own that quilt for myself (cold winters you know) I don't think I would pay $300. bucks.

We had beans for breakfast in the both the Navy and the Corp. You could only get good coffee from the snipes and guys in the radio rooms, they could really make it right. You could eat their coffee with a spoon. My all time favorite was and still is SOS for breakfast but its getting hard to find it anymore and the wife will not make it.
Laura there will be a number of us there on Friday so you will find lots of people to talk to.
