I just had the senior moment of all time, and drove poor Tom into thinking he was nuts! I was in the first post using his password and screen name--added my name to the Pt. Angeles list--then flipped over to this topic to ask for the phone. Forgot I was signed in as Tom! It is Dave and I that are going! Tom couldn't figure out what the heck happened when he saw the post. Thanks hobo and Bigdog--I got their voicemail when I called late this afternoon, but left a detailed message, and will call tomorrow. We are looking forward to it--I have a cousin in Pt. Angeles.

Bigdog and Hobo, that post asking that I be put on the mini rally list was a mistake. RVLady will be posting an explanation on what happened (I hope). No, I don't think she had been hitting the sauce, sounded like an honest mistake anyway. Hopefully it gets straightened out.

Becky, I see in your signature that you have a Bichon. We have one also, "Kaila" who is eight years old and loves to travel. They are wonderful little dogs aren't they?

Tom

Oh great, that's all I need,Jeanne's been looking at dog's and she's kind of decided on a Bichon...Actually I thinkl they're kinda cute with all that white fur, pointy ears and those big black eyes..

Jon, if you want a dog you can't go wrong getting a Bichon. They are extremely smart. If you get a baby it will have you trained to do exactly what it wants before it gets half grown. They don't have pointy ears though, they are kinda floppy with long hair like a poodle. Lots of people have asked us what kind of a poodle mix ours is. She does look a lot like a poodle except she has wavy hair instead of curly and short stubby legs.

That's right it's the white scottie that has the pointy ears.. Kinda like them too.. I think that we've got it straightened out as to who's going to P.T.
Admin is sending a box of goodies to me at the park for us to use for various and sundry purposes..
It's getting close...Lessee,Hobo will be there about 6 AM tomorrow just waiting to get into the park....

I am sorry to have to post that we won't be able to make the rally. My Dh has made other plans and without him to pull the 5'er it won't happen. Sorry, we were looking forward to meeting everyone. Have a great rally.

I called the social security office and they said I could have the whole 2 weeks off. Not a bad boss don't you think?
Bigdog,,, I thought you had this time off all planned? What happened? Not a very nice boss. You should go ahead and get a boss like I have.
Just don't make any noise when you get here.

Bigdog, the RV Park called this morning, the box from RV.NET arrived. I will pick it up when I go over there. She said it was marked T-shirts.

Later, Tom

Is there a costco new the RV park? Went into Costco in Tacoma this morning to check on the price of clams. They only sell them on Friday & Saturday. They come in a 5lb bag and supposedly at $3.49 per lb. I than went to Johnny's Seafood in Tacoma and they have them for $5.39 lb. Both are the manila clams.

Since we are leaving early friday morning, I won't be able to pick them from costco before we leave, so I either have to suck it up and buy them from Johnny's after work on thursday, or risk waiting to buy them from a costco, or elsewhere, in Portland.

The first year I bought 15lbs and I had left overs. Last year I bought 10-12 lbs and they went so fast that I even didn't get much (Thanks Hobo!). So, I am planning on at least 15 lbs, maybe 20 if the price is right.

Hobo, since you are getting down there so early, could you check with the local costco and see if they sell clams and when and how much and let me know? For you locals, is there another place to by them down there?
