Has anyone heard of any traffic worries or road problems up that way? Other than the regular DC mess...

Hey, Hey, thats enough out of you. I'll have you know I purchased a new mat. Still not big enough, but it will have to do. I figure if I get Kim to sew them together, we'll be all set.
So there!!!
Dave & Kim, Charlie & Ripken (labs)...our buddies!

However. Last year I took 70 to 15 and rather enjoyed that. Sure, I had to go past 795 a few miles to hit 70, but wide open through and through. 140 and 97 can be slow moving but so can Interstates.

I was gonna defend ya Dave. Yes, he has stepped up to a bigger mat, at least on one side.
After utilizing the now incredibly easy GOOGLE drag and drop mapping feature I am supposed to save 20 minutes by using 140/97. Sure, I know 70 takes me away a bit.
For you folks coming from the South side I would still use 70/15.

As much as I would agree about PA (former resident and constant traveller to and through) until I drove through GA, AL and FL in December and March I would suggest that they are the pits right now.
