What to thank Cyber, Sandy & Shirley and everyone else for the Great time. This was are 4 Rally and alot of good times and memory's
And Beverly and the Drummer Boy Staff for everything. On the way out today we stop and talked to Beverly and booked next year for the same time and site.
Well we got in around
3:45 the weather was just terrible, apparently it followed everyone home no matter what direction you were headed.
Erin and I also want to thank everyone for a great 4 days. Inspite of the weather this was a great rally with really enjoyable friends, and I mean friends in every sense of the word. Erin and I both feel so lucky to be able to have "hitched" up with such a great group of people. For those going to Killens we look forward to seeing you there, and for the rest-we will see you at Elk Neck-have a great travel season.
Thanks once again to Sandy and Shirley and cyber for all your organization
We are home as well. We arrived at 3:00. All is well, laundry is started then we will pack it back into the trailer for the next trip!! We had a great time. I will touch base later, must go make dinner for Lucy.....
We were in rain until reaching Harpers Ferry and the VA line. Five cars ahead of us played bumper tag at the light at the US 340 on ramp at Charlestown WV, but we were not it.
We had a great time and made many new friends. Hats off to Cyber,Sandy,Shirley and Beverly & all the geat campers at the rally. Hope to see you all again.

WE ARE HOME!
What a great Rally...My gosh #5!
I want to personally thank all the attendees...it really was a BLAST!
I'm not sure how many hots dogs we cooked in total...5 yrs!
Hmmm...all I know is we never ran out of Hot dogs!
The Dessert party with Beckely's RV was great..The people from Beckleys are great.
The POT LUCK Dinner was excellent...so so much food...so much to taste...it was all wonderful.
A special thank you to all the volunteers...again, it was the attendees that made the Rally GREAT!
Thanks to all the volunteers that organized the activities...as in the past they were all wonderful
a special Thank you to Johnny T for coming to all 5 rallys....Johnny I'll never forget your extra effort for this Rally!
One more thank you to DRUMMER BOY CG and Beverly (our hostess)...Beverly was wonderful and made sure EVERYONE enjoyed the CG...Oh, Thanks for donating the Lincoln Hall for the 3 nights....that was really nice of Drummer Boy......Thank You! Thank You!....a wonderful CG at a GREAT RV DESTINATION!
To us, the 300 section wasn't bad at all! This was our first rally at Drummer Boy and had a pleasant stay....even though we did get a lot of rain. DH and I don't understand what the problem is with the other group that went to the other CG. Beverly and the staff at Drummer Boy were pleasant and very helpful. We'd go back to Drummer Boy.

Thank you Cyber, Vickie (happy belated birthday!), Sandy, and Shirley.
The four of you put so much time and work into the rally - it is very much appreciated!
Thank you Beverly! We miss you already! Beverly was super and constantly trying to help everyone!! She quickly became a new friend to many at the rally. Everyone at Drummerboy was wonderful!
The campground looked great which made things even more enoyable.
Frank and Sharon, sorry the weather got bad last night, we were looking forward to catching up with you guys!
We got home around 1pm...was raining when we hooked up in Gettysburg, was raining when we got home...fortunately, we are heading out again Thursday morning for an extended weekend in VA Beach so the HTT will dry out then.
Cranej..I saw you pulling out with a golf cart following as I sat at my dinette studying, drinking coffee, and listening to DH snore. Wanted to wave, but your backside wouldn't have waved back LOL.
Sorry about the lost helper there Robo...think I know where he went because somehow, I didn't have to lug the wood pack into the camper..Phil had someone else do that with him. ;-) BTW: my dd got a phone call at 2pm...guess who LOL.
We really didn't mind the 300's at Drummerboy either. Our site was up the end nearest the bathroom and it, IMHO, was a bit nicer then the lower sites. My only real complaint was I hated hearing the traffic noise. Kept me up for a bit each night...traffic noise and camping don't mix for me. I want to hear the breeze in the trees, birds, and bugs. I'll head back to drummerboy if there's a rally there, but for just us, we like the KOA. Smaller...more wooded...less parking lot'ish. Unfortunatly, not as big rig friendly and not large enough for this type of rally.
Thanks to all those who put in such great volunteer work to get this thing together. I'm sure if the weather had been better we would have meet more people. But all things considered with the weather...what a great weekend. YUM to the potluck and Franks shrimp WOW!!!! Even a pineapple straw for my coffee! Lovin it! Really top notch job to all.
Can't wait for Elk Neck and Killen's...plus the smaller Point Lookout in Oct!
