Class B / Camping Van Enthusiasts Map

BuddyMapping (powered by Google)....an idea stolen straight from luv2skyski at the Truck Camper Forum!

All ya gotta do is "Add Yourself to the Map":

Name: use your RVnet screen name

Location: City/State (you can use a zip only, but then only your zip will display)

Comment: - it would be nice to list your rig here?

Picture: optional - you can add a small picture to your ID

I have registered it so's as not to ask for any information from you - no email or anything else. I don't see how you could possibly get spam, etc. from such an anonymous process... I might, but you shouldn't. They have had this thing going for just over a month at the Truck Camper Forum.

It looks like the list of names sorts itself from west (Mark) to east (Arkynova)...

(You need to 'REFRESH' to see the latest version of the map that I have posted....
your computer's cache is likely holding an older version.)

Since the map uses html for posting to another site, I'm not sure as to how to get an active map posted here.... For now, I'll just screen shot it from time to time as I did above...

The updated Map is always available at the link above.

I can edit or delete information or an entire profile. If you want something changed, just let me know.

Oh yeah, it looks like it's pretty common to get the 'Bad Gateway' error message (I'm gettin' it today and they have talked about it in TC).... sorry bout that, but this seemed to be the best map source available for folks that don't want to disclose their life history just to add a little dot on a map.

I tried a couple of times under both USA and World settings to place my dot in Manitoba, Canada with no success. Seems to work well for those of you in the USA though.

I hope nobody minds, but for those with no rig description - I added one..... no pic - I added your manufacurer logo or sig pic if I found one.

OK, is pamelajo same as pamela on map? I hope so cause I put your rig and pic on there.

Offhand, I have no idea who Penny or dennisroclay are... please step forward - I'd like to add your rig information.

'I think' Canadians need to use 'US' - But use your zip code instead of City/Province.

I added myself in Fort Walton Beach with BigBuluga. But my dot didn't come out. It did add to the list on the side, though. Hey, Buluga....who are you?
