Our "new" (to us) tow rig. Absolutely love it and also will never go back to the nervous towing with a pickup.

Here is my New To Me truck, an improvement over the Durango that it replaced. I am a Ram fan, but the Blue Oval was a deal.

I am curious about what is the difference if any between your tow vehicle and the commercial big rigs? How much hp/tq does the engine have and what kind of trans? What kind of fuel economy do you get?

My first Ford. It only has the 4.6 litre, but gets about the same fuel mileage as the minvan that was finally put out of it's misery. Our TT only has a max gvwr of 3900lbs, so it tows it quite easily. It has the heavy trailer towing package, with the 373 axles.
