It's an 8' section of pipe that I got out of the salvage pile at the contractor supply yard. The only thing I had to buy was the 23 degree elbow, and end fittings. Those cost me about $30. If you had to buy the main pipe... you're probably looking at around $50/$60 total.

I used Rustoleum gloss back for the paint. Not for any particular reason other than that's what I had in the paint cabinet. LOL!!!

Hope this helps!

I did a similar mod, but used ABS pipe, which comes black, so no need to paint.

Yeah, I keep meaning to use a knife and clean it up. It cuts really easy, easier than butter.

We don't have mud dobbers in WA.

Added this fishing pole holder yesterday. Picked it up at Walmart. Very easy to install. Gets one more thing off the floor of the storage compartment.

Those are neat fishing moles. What do the moles catch?

This is something I want to do, too, instead of having the rods all jumbled up with everything else. Gotta' go to Walmart for a portable oven today so might as well stop in the sporting goods section!

We just picked up our Keystone Sprinter 250RBS yesterday and spent some time today putting everything in it that had been in our Wave. (Well, almost everything- we were able to weed out a bunch of "junk").

My first mod: Velcro tabs on the inside of the cabinet that holds the TV - one for the TV remote and the other for the radio/CD/DVD remote. We had kept them in a drawer - now they have their own space.

Now I'm going to get some velcro tape to help hold the dinette cushions in place. The Wave had it, the Sprinter doesn't.

Also, now that we have a nice clothesline in the shower for hanging wet clothes or towels, we no longer need the long shower rod we'd had in the Wave. But it will go in the huge cabinet over the sink to divide that cabinet in half. (The cabinet is accessible from front and back, and this will keep my plates/glasses/bowls from sliding all the way back to the other side.
