The best place to camp on Table Rock Lake is at the Corps of Engineer campgrounds - Never Stayed at the state park - If you are going to Silver Dollar City - Indian Point is very close and is on the Lake with a Marina. Great way to send the day is to rent a Pontoon Boat - for a day or half a day - the have gas grills so you can cook lunch - a cover to keep out of the sun -provides life jackets - you wont be sorry - TAble Rock lake is beautiful - you can spend a day on the lake and it wont cost any more than a Branson Show for 4 - If you see a Red Crownline speedboat - give us a wave.
We will be at Cape Fair on Memorial Day and Mill Creek on the 4th.

Cape Fair.
I found a web site for Hide-Away resort in Cape Fair.
Looks nice and is priced right for the cabin rentals.
You know that place Mr. Crownline ?

The electric only loop is okay, not great in my opinion. The full hookup loop is horrible. The sites are way too close together. Here is a pic from when we stayed there in the full hookup loop in May of 2006.

My TT is the one parked behind the teal Dodge Intrepid (my sister's car). We took this pic from the Ride the Ducks ride that takes you way up on a hill that overlooks Table Rock lake.
I prefer wide open spaces with nice flat places for the kids to play and ride bikes. We couldn't pass gas without the next site hearing it!

I have to agree with these posts about the Table Rock State Park. Compared to the rest of the state parks in Missouri, this one is on par with a Wal-Mart parking lot. Not the Conservations best efforts.

Table Rock SP loop # 2 is better than the other loops in my opinion, more space between sites. I agree the full hookup loop is WAY to close together. The park is clean and close to branson and attractions. I agree the COE parks around table rock is very nice. Indian point is a good one.
Mill creek is gorgous! Another one that doesn't get used much that is very shady and nice is Cricket Creek COE park, however it is south of branson a few miles...but if you want some seclusion it is worth a look.
