I simply bring water to a boil on the stove. Add a heaping scoop of coffee to a Melita single cup filter-drip cone, pour boiling water over coffee, and in short order...a great 16oz cup of coffee!

Old perculator on an older Coleman pump stove. Getting up early and making the coffee alone is one of the many things I look forward to when camping. Th kids are catching on and at least one usually wakes up early and comes out.... Can you say bed head?

Old porcelain coated steel pot, fill with water, toss in a couple filter packs and boil inside on gas stove. If I'm up before the rest of the family (usually)I head outside with my old Svea backpacking stove. With the filter packs, you don't have to strain the grounds through your teeth. Plain ole' camp coffee.

I got the Melita manual for camping, but I like it so much I started using it at home too. Cheap, easy cleanup, and it makes a great cup of coffee.

We use what came installed in the RV as Seen Here It is 110v, running off the invertor. It is especially appreciated while on the road. The passenger can make coffee while the driver stays the course.

Sorry d......tan, but this one applies well.

This probably sounds outrageous - - But when I want/NEED coffee going down the road, I'm willing to drink INSTANT (Real Coffee Lovers May Choke Here Before Reading On). I really don't think that starting the genny is worth it, nor do I want Dear Old Mom boiling water on the propane stove about 11 inches behind my head!

The answer is a little bitty electric teakettle that draws about 700 watts, and runs easily off of the inverter. She sets it down inside the sink where it won't go anywhere in anything less than a rollover. It has a whistling cap that EVEN I can hear, so is not forgotten. Served up in one of those Tommy Tippy insulated cups (so I don't get half of it on my face, neck, shirt etc. when you hit THE BIG BUMP that is always there when you're going for the first (too hot) sip.

I also have an added bright orange warning light that can be seen in the rear view mirror - - as a warning that SOMEBODY forgot to shut off the inverter.

All of the above are approved by THE GERIATRIC PRECAUTIONARY COMMITTEE - - (me).

Good enough for who it's for.

The reason for spelling is so that all of the words don't look the same.

Last rv I had a Black and Decker under caminet mount which worked well. When I went to buy another for the current coach I found alot of people were having problems with leakage.
I ended up with a cheap drip coffeemakerwhich I leave on the counter on the rubber anti skid fabric. I make it the night before and pour it into a thermos.
At home I use my hobart burr grinder and drip maker but that's a different scene I have to have my coffee and will drink it in any condition - old, fresh, truck stop etc... if necessary.

I use a titanium cup for super fast heating, put it directly on the propane stove burner with instant coffee, Splenda, and the water in it.

Coffee in 2-3 minutes drunk directly from the cup it was heated in. Nothing to clean up except the stirring spoon. Wipe out the cup with a napkin. Fast, quiet, no messin' around with grounds/bags/dirty perculators/etc.. Got better things to do when campin'.
