To all, and especially Steve and Terry, thank you for making our Spring Rally a rousing success. We're so glad everyone had such a great time, especially all of the first-times.
Putting on a rally does require a lot of time and hard work, but the end result was worth it!

Yep, Debbie and I had a fantastic time! It was great to see friends again and meet new ones. Food was so good. Really enjoyed John's homemade egg rolls. Best we've EVER had.
For those of you interested, Dick and Rose are planning on taking a driving trip to Alaska for 2010. There are several of us interested in doing the same. It should be a lot of fun!
Thanks Chuck, Steve, and Terry for doing so much to make it a fun time for all. You guys ROCK!

Thanks to all. Since this was our first we didn't know what to expect but would have never expected it to be so fine.

Karen and I really enjoyed meeting all you North Texas guys, it was really fun. Someday, I may even be able to master Mexican Train. Thanks to Terry, Chuck and Steve for all the work you did in putting it on and to Winston for keeping everyone in line.
We left the RV Ranch around 12:30 and got to Hillsboro and was informed that we had a flat tire on the trailer. I have always heard that it is not if I have a flat tire, it's when I have a flat tire. Again, we had a great time and if anyone happens to wander into Central Texas, give us a call.

George,
Did you have any problems changing the tire? Sorry your weekend ended with a flat.
On another note, I am happy that Karen left WITHOUT Little Bear. I would hate to have to call in a missing bear report and an APB on Karen!!
It was good to meet you two. Safe travels and see you down the road.

Joe and Debbie, thank you! It's always a pleasure putting on a rally that includes all of the fine folks we had in attendance. The weekend was just much too short!
George, sorry to hear you had a flat. As Steve mentioned I do hope you didn't have too much of a problem changing it. Do you have an ERS (Emergency Roadside Service)? We use Good Sam's and have been very happy with it.
Price and Beverly, so glad you had a nice time! We're glad you enjoyed your first ever rally!

Just a reminder, if you want to attend the October Rally I mentioned, you'll need to call the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and book a site close to our group camping area. All of the 14 sites within the group area have been filled.
Below is a link to the rally thread that's been started:
DFW / Central Texas October Rally
Within the thread are instructions on how to signup to attend the rally.
Please post a message or send me a PM if you do decide to signup. If you're thinking about attending, I wouldn't wait too long. The weekend of the rally is a "game weekend" for Texas A&M. Kim, the park manager, did say the park does tend to book very heavily when A&M is playing at home.

The Rally was my FIRST but sure won't be my last. Everyone was super nice and had great stories and adventures to share. I've got to learn how to use my Dutch Oven like the people that were there. They did some fantastic cooking in them.
