We are also about to head out. Could drive it in a day, but plan to take at least 3. We are going to overshoot by a hundred miles or so to visit relatives near Winner, SD. Will be back to Niobrara by late afternoon Sunday.

I think we have 6 pie irons to share Anne & Dick, Marilyn & Tommie and 2 from Jack and I. We are contributing the white bread, PAM w/butter & several cans of apple, cherry & blueberry pie filling for the Monday pot luck.
We are tired, packed and heading out early in the morning.
Travel safe, all!

We are buzzing toward the Bee social, with our bee snatch o bingo prizes!
To anyone headed near Lincoln, Nebraska, beeeee sure you visit BEE, Nebraska. It is north west of Lincoln. Can't remember the name of the fabulous restaurant in town that brings the limos full of people on Friday Night! If anyone eats there let us know.
PS found it! Lou and Mary Ann's Bar is the place to go on Friday night!!!
Google Bee Nebraska for more information on this unique town. bzzzz!

About 10 miles NE of there is another small town (not shown on most maps) called Loma, NE made famous by a movie called Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything . Then still another 10 miles NE of there is Touhy, NE known in the past as quite entertaining on Friday nights drawing crowds from several hours away. Hope this is on topic of the Social in Nebraska.

Anybody coming through the Kansas City area that can use a stop or just say an early hello, we can offer a driveway with a plug in to stay overnite if you want. Just PM us or call my cell: 913-220-8969. We're not too far from I-70 & I-29.
We'll be here till Monday morning, arriving in NE. Monday afternoon late. See ya there.

We had two tornado's very close to us tonight. High winds, heavy rain and it is gone now. So maybe that was the clean out rain and wind.
Glad the spots are blacktop as gravel or grass would be very soft.
See you all soon. Hope no one gets caught in this storm moving NE from here. MN and IA people sure could.
Thanks for the PTS site! Helped me a lot.
Hope the local stuff will live up to THE taste!
Fire wood is wet...but have some dry to get a FIRE roaring or buzzing which ever is needed.

BZZZZZZZZ Ya'll,
We have done a lot of buzzing around. We were a little ahead of schedule, so made a few side trips. Dodging the weather and driving slow because of the wind and rain. Saw two 18 wheelers on their side along I-80 near Lincoln this morning. Now headed to Bee, NE to shop for Bees (If we can't find them there, we may as well give up.) We should arrive in Niobara Saturday afternoon.
