Sharon & Bob, we couldn't resist. We took the scenic route and it was fabulous two days. I know Jack took this side trip for we may not be able to make it in October. I stressing over missing all of you and missing the opportunity to see Beatiful Utah! (Roadtrek changed their Balloon Fiesta Rally from the 2nd to the 1st week in October and we wanted to go one more time)!
What a beautiful place..Moab. You all will have so much fun. Julie & Chino chose a great place for scenery, food, and fun!
By the way, I was able to buy my Senior lifetime pass to the National Parks. $10.00! What a deal!

Howdy Y'all from Texas... finally!!
We arrived this afternoon. Dodged the weather all the way south. We loved NorthEast Nebraska, and southern South Dakota! We saw Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, drove Needles and Iron Mountain senic drives (we have pictures of driving through the 9"3" wide tunnels )
Had to have a drink at Wall Drug and see the Corn Palace in Mitchell. It was cool to see them removing this years pictures and putting up next years. NICE! We then headed to Western Iowa and drove the Loess Hill senic drive south! Each time we were watching the weather and flooding. We drove south for two days and arrived in time to watch the weather channel and see our path is now flooded and roads closed!
Yes, we were watched over during our whole trip.
I have not checked the postings, but hope all are back home and safe. We had a wonderful time at Niobrara.

Howdy from Wyoming,
We, too, would like to say a belated Thank You to Gary, Jack & Judy and all others who contributed or participated in making the Bee Social Rally a great success. David, your photos of people, names and rigs were fantastic. A good job, Well Done! We enjoyed meeting up with old friends and meeting new friends at the "Bee Social." We are currently at Lander, WY on a down (resting) day for us. We survived the Tornado watches and severe thunder storms of NE, as well as the high winds of SW NE and SE WY on our plodding journey. We plan of seeing the NPs of NW WY before we turn south bound,
Judy, Congrats on getting your Golden Age Passport. The best $10 you ever spent. We plan on using ours in a few days.
All for now.

My Dear Bee Social Group,
Since we had dodged bad weather in our travels home, we were glad to read that Harry and Sue (Pilgrims2) had arrived in Wyoming after leaving the Bee Social in Niobrara.
Sue called me this afternoon, because she was having trouble getting on line. She wanted me to let the Bee Social Group know that Harry had a heart attack yesterday while preparing for their next location and died.
She said he went as he would have wished. Their son is meeting Sue in Wyoming and she will go home with him. Since Harry and Sue were full timing in their Roadtrek, and have no home, there will only be a family memorial service.
As soon as I know where we can send condolences I will post the information.
When I told Sue she will be in our prayers she stated that is what she needs at this time.

Oh how terrible. Please let her know that Dick and I are sending prayers her way. What a interesting man Harry was, we enjoyed the time we had getting to know him. Sue is such a sweet lady I can only hope the best for her.
Sally thanks for letting us all know.

So sad. Harry kept me company while we made our stew for the potluck and volunteered his slip pliers to lift the Dutch oven lid and came to my aid the morning our power went out at the campground. I was just getting to make his acquaintance and felt it would be absolutely great to see him again at another BEE social because he embodied what it was all about. He was a true gentleman. We too hope the best for Sue in the future.

We only met Harry and Sue once at B2 but they were part of our B family. Our condolences to Sue and she will be in our thoughts.
We have had at least three people ask us on our current trip what affect high fuel prices are having on our travels. My answer has been the same each time. We are at the age when if we don't do it now, we may never be able to travel so we don't really think much about what fuel is costing us. Harry's sad passing just reinforces that view for us.
So sorry to hear this news. We had just read their post yesterday of safe arrival in Wyoming.

We met Sue and Harry at the first rally in Ky. and found them to be a delightful and dedicated couple. It is with great sadness that we heard the news today. We will be praying for Sue and all the family.
