Maybe someone can help me here. I am unable to see these or most other pics that are posted in various threads. I see the signature pics. Is there a setting that I am missing? thanks

Very possibly yes. Click on the My Forums link in the upper right corner, then click on My Preferences towards the left, then look for the check box by "Show images that are part of posts ( not recommended for dial-up users )" If it is unchecked, put a check in it and see if you see the photos now.

Hmmm... I usually over-engineer, I know - but isn't copper a bit soft to hold pins on each side? I'd think it would pull out over time.

Thanks. My settings are correct. It must be some type of security setting on my company network. Outside of the company I can see the pics. Oh well. Guess I'll have to check the forum on my own time.

I noticed the photos are hosted on photobucket, I'd bet that site is blocked by the company. The signature photos are hosted locally by RV.net or the other portals.

You must be an interior decorator, the way you used all that chrome. Looks great!

I have been running around with the ladder mounted on the outside since the day I bought it over 2 years ago. Is that a problem for you? Never thought about it, taking it down, storing it, or anything?

Am I missing something?

Our PDI guy said he didn't see any reason the ladder could not just stay in place. I just don't like the extra width (but then again... if anything is that close I'm probably in trouble anyway and the ladder is the least of my troubles) -- still, if I had a close call with a tree, barrier, etc and whacked the ladder...

So, since I prefer to remove it... I need it smaller to store it.

My ladder tube is 1" OD and 7/8" ID - I just ran through the local HD and could not find anything that looked to be a good fit inside or out. The 1/2" gas pipe nipples were much too small and 3/4" nipples looked too big. I'm hoping I can find some stainless tube that matches the OD or ID and get this mod done asap.

But as I type now... the ladder is back outside and out of the way.

It was my impression, and told to me by my dealer when I bought it, that with the ladder on the total width exceeded the 102 inch wide limits for towing a rv trailer...at least in WA and OR.
