I have reported the outage.

Generally, I stay away from the two Beta portals, Good Sam Club and TLDirectory. Also, I use RV.Net, when I have to, otherwise I use Trailer Life or Woodalls.

When coming in thru the GoodSam portal It is asking for my user name after I have signed in with email and password. When I put "rug" in the space for user name I get a message that states that user name is being used by another member and will not let me in.

I have no problem coming in on RV.Net.

Rug,

Ever since the Good Sam Club site went beta, I've had all sorts of problems. For example, I can't log out of the forums or look at my profile.

In any event, today, whether I use the direct link to the Good Sam portal or go through the Good Sam Clur/RV Community/Forums link, I get "This page cannot be found" message. The technicians have been informed.

I usually use the GS portal or the RV net but sometimes nothing seems to work. The GS one comes up with unable to connect, and the TL one won't let me in, says that my user name is already in use. I had not been aware of the Woodall site, may try it. The GS went back to the old page far a few days and now is the new one and it won't connect, why.

RV Net portal seems to be unavailable. Anyone else having problems with it? My browser tells me it doesn't even exist.

I wonder why you can't use other portals, for example, http://www.trailerlife.com/forums/

I find the RV.Net portal to be the least stable.

As far as your question, I not sure that it matters greatly, one way or th other. For a period of time, there is a little overhead for anyone who is inactive but still logged in. After a specified amount of time, the forum ceases to do anything for accounts that have become inactive. (The amount of time is set on one's preferences page and defaults to 30 minutes.)

When I hold my cursor over the topic it used to show a brief description of the post. Now I get a large box that flashes with some verbage at the bottom but difficult to read as the box keeps flashing on and off. What is the problem?
