yep. Thats it after about 30 sec's. I switch over to other forums I use and no issues. Sometimes, it just sits there. I close Firefox and log on later.
Thanks!
What portal are you using?
Tom
Tom, I was using RV Net. I read the poster above indicating better performance with Trailer Life. Tried it. Agree. Better performance for sure but still slow. Just curious. Since all the portals lead to the same forums content, why the mutiples/ Marketiing reasons perhaps? Thanks for your continued work on this

I have never asked, but have alwasy assumed that "marketing reasons" would be the answer.

Just when a person starts getting excited cuz it seems that due to popular demand the forum is fixed, we go right back to the white screen of death again. Disappointing would be an understatement.
You know guys, there is forum software that does work and there really is no need to keep using this dated and buggy software.
Servers are also rather cheap now and certainly could be covered by the abundant advertising. This is a forum with great potential if only it was dependable ...........

With the first post on this subject being dated July of last summer, I'd have to say that it's not high on the priority list to fix the underlying issues causing the problems.

Which portal are you using? (RV.Net, Trailer Life, Good Sam, etc?)
I have found Trailer Life provides better access than does RV.Net.

Tom,
I have been using RV.net as a portal ever since I joined open roads, but have taken your suggestion on using Trailer Life as a portal, and will be giving it a test run.
Will post back here in a few days with my results.
BTW, This post is through the TL portal.
