We (ages 55 and 60) are meeting friends (ages 55 and 58) in the Lancaster/Hershey/Amish area of Pennsylvania. We prefer to stay in a campground that is not children-focused. Any suggestions?

Check out Lake in Wood campground in Bowmanville PA. It's just s/o Reading one of the prettiest campgrounds we have ever been to. All Amish countryside and food as far as the eye can see. We just came back last week (2nd year in a row), don't think you'll be disappointed. Randy

Country Haven has beautiful views of Amish Farms and is also a no frills CG. One of my favorites.

Country Acres is a great CG. We have seen very little kid activity when we have stayed there. We stay in the pull thru section. The pool and playground is on the other side of the CG.

Enjoy your trip !

Country Haven Campground Absolutely the best view in Lancaster County. Very quiet, in the heart of Amish farm land, and not far from the Shady Maple! We have reservations next spring for our fourth trip to this CG.

Stayed at County Haven last weekend. Loved it. Quiet-no frills CG. Good for relaxing. Just about 15-20 mins from Outlets in Lancaster
