Anybody mount their Portable Waste Tank to the outside of their HTT, while in route? I'm thinking it would be nice to come up with some sort of bracket to hold the (empty) tank, during transit. I really don't want to put a used tank within the HTT or TV.

Any ideas?

Also...can anyone tell me where to get the U-Brackets...for mounting things on rear bumper? And any ideas how much weight the rear bumper of a 21SS Roo can hold?

Thanks all!!

I've seen lots of them hanging off the rear ladder.

The previous owner had a lightweight bike rack on the back, I put my sons bike back there and can place the blue tote between the rack and camper wall, resting on the bumper. Strap it down and it is good to go!

We moved our battery to the right side of the trailer frame, allowing our blue tote space to the left of the battery behind the propane tanks, then strapped it to the frame.

We bought a hitch mount metal cargo carrier from Wal Mart and mounted it to the back bumper.

One of the moderators (LAdams maybe) attatched to the bottom of their trailer I believe - saw photos around here somewhere not too long ago.

Hello Les,

I'm thinking about mounting my 40gallon blue boy under my fifth wheel like you have I don't expect to use the tank much, so would rather just stick it up there and forget about it.

How is this working out for you? I feel a bit concerned about someday scraping the tank on a low curb or driveway.

Thanks much.
